yeah it sounds like I'm down on the team which I'm not, a lot to like about them and really enjoyed it all so far, I just think there are a few warning signs with the lack of ideas when teams put players behind the ball, we've a lot of players who have similar skillsets so we become a bit predictable to play against. Mind you the majority of this division are no better to be honest and have similar problems. |

I think the wide players are good but very inconsistent with their final ball, potential to be good enough but over a season I just think we lack a bit of quality. We have a squad who can make the playoffs but it won't take much to knock that off course and we're not the luckiest club. |

He is very predictable though, everytime he cuts inside and shoots and most of the time it's blocked. He does need to vary his game a bit but great he got his goal and hopefully he can build on it |

I think we lack quality out wide and lack a playmaker in central midfield to actually make the playoffs but we should challenge.
Injuries is our biggest issue still, for all the talk of how great we are doing on that front at the fans forum we are losing at least 1 player a game through injury at the moment, Vale has pulled out of Ireland squad so no idea how long he's out for.
I've enjoyed the first 8 games but you can make a good case to say it's not going to be any different again.
If you compare results to last season it's 3 points better off.

The next batch before the next International break we took 3 points from those 7 games last season so room for improvement

Southampton - Lost
Burnley/Coventry - Lost
Lincoln City/Sheff Wed - Won
I think we'll have a better idea after those games |

I imagine Saito and Smyth couldn't do 90 minutes so they were saved for the second half. Neither would have been ideal in the number 10 role anyway. Lloyd would have made some sense though |

Personally think the League Cup is great, get some cracking matches in it, last few finals been good as well.
I'd rather pre and post season tours were scrapped rather than a major trophy |

Few thoughts
First half so mmuch wrong, the opening goal obviously a mistake but the midfield were too deep and with no nunmber 10 we just couldn't create anything just kept going sideways and backwards. Was Madsens worst half for a long time, got nothing right even the second goal comes from him giving it away being too casual.
Leon Scarlett was getting some stick but thought he did OK, the problem was in the middle.
Second half the intent from minute one was different, pushing forward on the front foot with the midfield playing higher up the pitch. Really could have won the game with the chances we had but great spirit to keep going and get something fron the game.
Poku was driving me mad with his cut inside and shoot second half until it finally worked for him, he needs to vary his game a bit.
You can spin the result any way you like, great point or now 4 without a win. Neither would be wrong.
One other thing, we haven't won since we started playing Hi Ho Silver Lining before the game |

The ref does only get to see it once but to me you could give a red to Cirkin, a yellow to Cirkin or not even giver a free kick and you could make a case for all 3.

even with the money they have spent to go from non league to the Championship is a great achievement, they seem a pretty well run club with some smart people running the club |
