For me the ultimate Taraabt moment was that goal against Cardiff. The body swerves to make the Cardiff defence fall over like the parting of the Red Sea. Meanwhile -the ball just rolls forward. Then the curled shot into the far corner. Just brilliant. |

It’s not the Jules Rimet trophy any more. That was the original one given to Brazil to keep after their 1970 win and subsequently stolen. The rather ugly one now used is simply the FIFA World Cup Trophy. |

That Jonners moment. I was sitting in the pav at the Oval and everyone around me with earpiece radios started wetting themselves. I heard it back afterwards. Just brilliant.
Also Barry Davies in the run up to the Euro96 semi final. He just shut up and let the crowd singing speak for itself. Great judgement.
Peter Alliss wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea but he knew his stuff.
Sid Waddell. Only one word for that; magic darts. He also knew his stuff.
Honourable mentions; whispering Ted Lowe, John Virgo, Eddie Waring on rugby league (especially when that guy missed a conversion in front of the sticks to win the Challenge Cup final), the athletics guys, Andrew Castle and finally Andrew Cotter (so versatile but peerless rugby commentary. The itv guysxare total amateurs by comparison. |

We were in Cork last year. Stayed at the River Lee. Great breakfast. Full of Americans. Loved the pubs. Did a side trip to Kinsale. The weather was great, so we enjoyed the Costa del Cork!! |

Nor me. At least I have the Anfield semi to look back fondly on. Especially that moment when Robinson leapt to his feet and started celebrating. The ground fell away behind the far goal line and so none of us could see that the ball had gone in. |

There are clearly many who are all over the detail of this. Can I add some general comments;
Yes, this would be our last chance to have something better than what we have now in the local area. I don’t think the Wormholt Park idea is a serious runner. In fact anything involving LBH&F looks like a complete nightmare.
Staying at HQ is not really an option. We all know its shortcomings. We would face a managed decline into irrelevance and our local derby would be against AFC Wimbledon.
We do need to preserve what is so great about HQ-the atmosphere that comes from the fully enclosed pitch and stands really close to the touch lines.
Did we kiss and make up with the Car Giant owners?
The transport at Car Giant will take care of itself over time.
