I used Nicks Coaches as well.
They are decent way to travel to away games.
My only bugbear is they turn up at the Services all at the same one , at the same time and it's then a bunfight to get your grub ordered and eaten before your coach goes. |

Decent summary A1079.
I was there in the lower stand and the atmosphere was pretty flat.
A muted celebration when we scored and I noticed lots of fans not even clapping ...very strange to see , I dont get it, you travel all that way and must clearly love your team yet remain muted and seeming disengaged .
I read on Saintsweb that someone had been on the Wednseday forums and they said thats the best their support has been in ages and that left corner area really kept up the singing whilst we sat in silence!
I guess there was a element of us just turning up and winning whilst their hardcore fans are showing their passion. |

Maybe the experience of playing in the Prem taught him to up his game a notch and he has duly delivered.

Just checked it out and Bundesliga .2 is ranked 30th in quality.
Compared to the Championship which is 7th.
It's hard to believe thats it's ranked so low when you look at the crowd sizes.
Also for every Damion Downes there's a Casper Jander .
It's ranked lower than the Ecuador and Columbian leagues?? |

He's done really well, clearly an up and coming manager and bigger clubs will be taking notice of him.
Coming from Genoa where Spors was too , they must have a close working relationship .
All the things the fans could see that were wrong have been corrected.
1. Better keeper.
2. Best two CBs put together.
3. Proper fullbacks who are primarily there to defend.
4. Flynn Downes now knows his role and is playing accordingly.
5. Two big striker options to aim at. |

Nick you have to just move on from the fact Saints decided to let Ronnie Edwards leave...he's not our player anymore and was distinctly average at best when he did play for us.
Similar to me having to let go of the fact that we let 17 goals in 20 game Onuachu leave for pastures new. |

Watched them last night getting stuffed by the Skates, they were pretty awful.
No doubt we'll going to face an ultra low block and their gameplay will be to frustrate.
My reckoning is we need roughly 75pts to get that last playoff spot , going by the previous 5 seasons points totals.
10 wins out of 14 games left ...or 9 wins and 3 draws. ....tough ask as we have been very hot n cold. |

This club and doughnut of a manager never cease to amaze me with their incompetence.
How can my 12 year old nipper see the line up and immediately say " well that's us beaten Dad, Archers playing so we've lost before we even started"
So bloody obvious..surely they can see that he's a terrible footballer?? |

Agreed, I think Edozie has been overlooked and it wouldn't surprise me that he became disillusioned with the club when we loaned him out to Anderlect.

Probably be the only goal he'll score for us!
Onuachu got another brace at the weekend.
That's 16 goals in 20 games.
For me he would have been perfect for this league...and we let him go for peanuts. |

Too many teams between us and 6th and as someone else said we blow too hot and cold.

I watched some of their midweek game away at Hull.
Watford were the dominant side .
Although he didn't stand out in the Hull game , the Watford player to watch is Imran Louza their Moroccan midfielder.
A proper classy player who can spray passes around for fun and split defences , he's like a Championship Pirlo. |
