I understand all that Hunter. However if we didn't sell anyone, couldn't we still sign players? Wouldn't it just mean that our FFP allowable loss was reduced by the amortisation amount? So if the FFP figure was £14.5 million, we would only have £8.5 million headroom that year and subsequent years we didn't sell. |

Isn't that the system that Southampton don't pick him for? |

I thought something was wrong when Gabby left in the middle of MOTD for a family emergency. |

Hoilett had "piano wire hamstrings" for ages but eventually seemed to overcome them and become a regular starter for us and Cardiff etc. Willock now seems to be available fairly regularly as well. 26 appearances this season albeit he may be a sub or be subbed a fair bit. |

We probably hoped the loan would go better and that they would either sign him or extend the loan. I don't think he can play for anyone else this season. I'm unsure of when his registration with the Swedish club ended. If it was after 1st July, then he has already been registered with three clubs in the FIFA specified period. If it ended earlier he may be eligible for a club with an overlapping season. |

There is a bit of a difference between clicking on a Facebook link for a few seconds on your journey home from work or some such and The COMMITMENT Spending time at the matches, travelling and missing out on other activities and events, taking time off work and forking out thousands of pounds each year. |

Not if you read the QPR original loan statement. He was loaned until January. |

Went for £125k in the late 60's to Spurs from (Southampton, I think). |

Yes he has his faults and he goes down with a phantom injury every game. However he's often been our best or one of our best players. Consistently above average. |

I've been for resting on other occasions but this time it's different. We have a whole week to prepare and recover from the last nine days. We also have almost a week after it. The risk of injury is reduced as we don't have to play on our patch. Win at West Ham, or even if we don't but we perform very well and it will boost our confidence for Stoke. Don't risk anyone who isn't 100% but otherwise play the best eleven you can. As DaveB said put an extra midfielder in at the start and bring Kolli on, as he probably isn't ready for the full 90. |

Try West Ham. Say your a tourist, if they ask. They'll probably sell you one or more. |

I think Mbengue is very good at rb. We wouldn't really find anyone better. He seems to get less bookings there too. |

Remembering last year Kolli came on after 28 minutes for Lloyd. Varane scored from a Kolli pass for 1-1. Then I think errors led to some of their goals but Kolli scored in first half added time to make it 3-2 at half time. In the second half we gave away a penalty for 4-2 and they went on to fill their boots. With Burrell probably out and a week on the training ground, it's a good time to put three in centre midfield. Smyth should play at least the second half but should be on the right. Ideally Chair on the left, or Kolli if fit otherwise Saito. Kone the lone striker. |

He was also stretching as soon as the final whistle went. |

Overall in the first team, he has scored 8 in 47 games. 1882 minutes which is the equivalent of a shade under 21 games. 8 n 21 seems a better scoring rate than most of the forwards I can remember. [Post edited 5 Jan 12:22]

I agree with that too. The effort that is being put in is being severely hampered by the lack of energy due to too many matches and some players playing too many minutes. |

I think I read somewhere he picked up an ankle injury from a bad tackle and was going for a scan. We can't get insurance for him, The NHS has been on strike and there has been the Christmas period, so we are still waiting.😁 |
