Classic FM was a cool sponsor, but I wasn’t so keen on the kit, the blue was too light. Brooks was another cool sponsor. The reissue looks great but the material feels horrible!
I really liked ‘Holland fly KML’. The kit is probably my favourite, such a clean design. I also like how there are different version with sponsor in varying sizes. I’ve been so tempted to buy a knock off version.
Compaq has special place in my heart as it was my first QPR kit. |

Still thinking about the game. The second half performance was one the most impressive displays of football I’ve seen from QPR in a long time. The first half we seemed a bit shell shocked but regained our composure second half and got the very minimum we deserved from the game. Everyone put in a shift. Even JS got a yellow! The bench went mental when we scored which showed how much it meant to everyone. Being in the ground, hearing how the fans got behind the team, incredible sense of belief from everyone! Felt very special. I’m sorry if that all sounds a bit over the top, but those last minute goals are absolutely mental, stays with you for a few days! |

Barton was a good footballer and I thought the season we won promotion he played well for us. But he wasn't so good that it was worth all the baggage.
His violent behaviour is unacceptable. He seem's incapable or unwilling to deal with it and will have to face the consequence of his actions.

A bit like Bolton, 2 points lost instead of 1 point gained. Toothless in front of goal, but at least we’re dominating games and creating chances.
Very pleased to hear Madsen and Kamara are working well together.

Fair result IMO. We picked up second half, but we wasted chances, several cut backs/crosses into empty spaces and a couple of poor corners. I think it was Smyth who hit the post, he was unlucky, but we can’t rely on single moments of brilliance.
I was impressed with Lamptey and generally impressed with the overall feel of the team compared to last season. Still not sure what our strongest 11 is.
Last thing, I thought the atmosphere was good. Feels like something is stirring at the club. Anyway, still early days, let’s not get carried away. |

Agree that a song needs to be a 'proper' song in its own right. That's good principle to have, but if you take the Pompeii song, I thought that and video were sh*t.
The problem we've had with that, and the Coldplay song, and Dean's poem is that they're all the wrong tone for football.
A good atmosphere usually has a bit of an edge about it, it's rarely on a Saturday at 3pm or an early kick off. We also can't expect a good atmosphere throughout the full 90 minutes, it's all about moments and breaking the tension and having that natural response to a goal - Morgan vs Birmingham. The song beforehand sets the tone. So what is the tone we want? Are we a family club open to all? Do we want to be a menacing place for away fans? Do we want to focus on young 'lads' coming through the gates? You can't have it all an expect a good, coherent atmosphere.
For me Pigpag has always encapsulated QPR. It's bit shit but still good/catchy. It's also a timeless tune, not too rooted in any era/moment making it adaptable.
My favourite thing about it is how jarring it must be for away fans when we score! |

I don't think the song is that bad, but it doesn't compete with London Calling. Arsenal are a full on cringe fest. 100% fromage. Louis Dunford is the Richard Curtis of football song writing. Bircham summed us up perfectly when he described us as a 'spiv club'. We're a bit rough around the edges, not full-on Millwall rough, but we've definitely got an edge and should lean into it a bit more. Don't even get me started on that poem and coldplay song, such a depressing way to g-up the crowd. There has to be a better way we get fans involved in developing the club culture. |

The Loft For Words (LFW) forum should ban AI-generated replies to protect its authentic fan culture. Football message boards thrive on raw human emotion, dark humour, and the shared lived experiences of QPR fans. AI-generated text is inherently sterile, overly polite, and neutral, which completely clashes with the passionate, opinionated nature of standard LFW debate.
If users suspect they are interacting with or arguing against an automated tool rather than a fellow supporter, trust will erode, and community engagement will sharply decline.Instead of a blanket ban on all technology, the forum should implement a targeted policy.
While using AI to draft opinions, match reactions, or arguments in the comment section should be strictly forbidden, exceptions can be made for factual research. For example, users could be allowed to paste AI-sourced historical data or statistics, provided the information is explicitly cited.
