Not the worst idea in the world should our owners decide enoughs enough at some point.
Personally i would like to see a very experienced (John Hollins) type of person brought in to the club ,to help both the owners/board and an inexperienced manager and backroom staff with navigating the league football world so to speak. |

Very entertaining first half.We look very good going forward and brilliant when playing out from the back ,when it works.

This may seem a little churlish considering the elation i felt watching us at Wembley and a truly fantastic season all in all.
The season started fantastically as teams stood off us and we passed the ball around at will,playing some great possession based football which was very good on the eye.
Towards the later part of the season i felt we had been sussed out by the opposition regarding putting a very high press on us as a team and us not being able to cope with that in the main part .
The final two games against York and Borehamwood Wood looked close on scoreline but in reality we got outplayed hugely by both teams but grit ,determination and some luck pulled us through .
I suppose what i am saying is that the style of football that Jim played in the early and mid parts of the season was great to watch but i am not sure if that would work in the division above and i couldnt see a plan b.
I would of course like Jim to stay to see if he could adapt ,but if it isnt to be then a more practical but flexible style may be a better approach. |

Just seen some footage of a York player punching a Rochdale fan on the first pitch invasion.Pretty sure thats a bit of a no no. |

Definately the cards are a cause for concern but i am not sure you get the same player without the physicality and aggresion. |

Remember it well.Went with my old fella and a few others.It was bloody freezing but plenty of ale was supped and the scotch pies in Gretnas clubhouse were great. |

Watched the game and was surprised by the number of changes tbh.We were fantastic against Gateshead and momentum is precious.
We are only just starting the season and the ethos of" play your best team " was never more needed today. A near full strength side would have broken Brackleys low block tactics and if your fortunate to be in control of the game, its at that point where you may change personnel.
Theres a time to give players gametime and how many you change from the previous game. An away game at a promoted club was not the time or place but hopefully its lessons learned. |

Remember this lad from years ago.He came through Burnleys academy and played with my son for years.Never afraid of a challenge back then and i hope he has a succesfull time with us. |
