Vitor Matos : What he brings to the Swans, broken down and explained
at 17:28:02

I loved the article. Even though you pick up on a lot of what Matos is trying to do when you're watching the game, putting words, context, and clarity to the ideas really helps you fully understand how this team plays. Cracking piece!

Game of the Championship day : Swans to reshuffle for visit of West Ham
at 17:17:09

Without a doubt the most intriguing match—the best attack going up against the best defense, top of the table on merit versus the team tipped most heavily for promotion. It’s going to be a cracking game. I’m definitely worried about losing Lissah, but I've got faith that we have the quality to cover for him. Keith, is this match not on Sky Sports?

Millwall 0 Swansea City 1 : Matos season just gets better. Exc pictures & match report
at 16:38:04

Cracking analysis with a bit of banter! I remember my shout when the goal went in—everyone in the office thought I'd gone mad. What a brilliant victory, and wow, 103 years, what a stat! I've been harsh on Matos in the past, but I happily stand corrected now—fair play to him, class act.

From Zagreb to Swansea: Inside the Global Jacks and Indy Weekend
at 18:38:24

What a brilliant piece and a fantastic experience—something I really hope to share myself one day. Dave is doing a cracking job and is a top bloke. As for Vigoroux, his presence is brilliant; I remember during the match against Mexico, I loved telling my dad, 'He's Swansea's starting keeper!' Same thing when we played Korea at the World Cup—telling him, 'The lad who put in that cross that almost went in plays for Swansea.' I love being able to watch our players when they line up against my country—it's amazing seeing their level against players I get to watch live every single weekend.

Very clear analysis—the situation with Lissah is a bit worrying, but I trust in his ability to avoid getting into trouble. Everything's set to enjoy a good match at work tomorrow!

Bellamy blasts long International break. Wales lose to Denmark
at 21:51:30

Speaking with all due respect for a national team of the country I love like Wales, I think that just like Mexico, they're going through a bit of a slump where major players have retired, and among those in the middle, very few are showing that high level that the former international squad members once set. They don't have a new wave of youth coming through on the horizon yet, and they're still lacking a style that can compete with what's currently needed—something Bellamy ought to rethink. Without a doubt, that generation that Swansea managed to get into the national setup is missed; if the Swans or even Cardiff are doing well, this could improve, as national responsibility ultimately falls on them too

Swansea City, Indy exclusive : Everything ok Jeremy ?
at 19:03:14

I loved the article—the level of quality in the writing is incredible, without speculating or creating unnecessary drama or controversy. Things are looking promising, but we’ll definitely have to wait for more info after the international break. It is a bit worrying that we might not have him fully fit, as he’s a player who makes a real difference, but we just have to keep faith in the club

Swansea City : Matos plans ahead with a potential new right back selection
at 17:07:52

It’s a tricky decision. Slotting Walsh in out wide could be risky given how outstanding he’s been at centre-back; having a bad game on the wing might knock his confidence, or we could end up struggling through the middle of defense in his absence. Having said that, I think the Dutchman has more than enough quality to cover that move without any issues—or perhaps even Parente could play at full-back. It’ll be interesting to see what Matos manages to pull off

Swans win away again : The story behind the game, Key blow & Matos elated

I feel really glad to have found this forum and to be a faithful daily reader of everything you do. Keep up the great work, and let's hope the international break doesn't hurt this good run the team's on too much—honestly, I wish it were shorter because I'm really going to miss the footy!

Swans win ugly and stand the test long ball football
at 19:45:37

Honestly, we're lucky to have one of the most reliable keepers in the league. Welsh—blimey, what a player, and he plays the ball out with such unbelievable composure, even if I feel he's not quite as comfortable alongside Cabango as he was with Lissah. Overall, a poor performance, but if we want to push for a playoff spot we're bound to have a few more like this. The important thing is knowing how to win when playing badly, which is even more valuable away from home
