Is that where the stat ended ?????? I don’t believe it!!! Felt like we had soooooo much more of the ball than them..
Anyway 4-1 will do for me makes the detour off the M1 through Hertfordshire a much nicer drive |

Got back midnight last night- bloody M1 closures always taints a midweek win
Thought Lloyd and kolli played great as a pair last night - at times running derby ragged and was so pleased for Lloyd to get his goal.
Shout out to smyth who has put himself as our most valuable wide player - never lets us down and is now our leading scorer this season with 3.
The back 4 look really strong together as a unit and Charles it’s just different gravy (who the hell did we get him!)
Was gutted poku didn’t finish his chance as the pass and first touch deserved a goal
This all said Derby were awful - as bad a team as I’ve seen at QPR, which brings me on to my last point…. Injuries
According to some of the fan sites Derby were missing 7 players last night - with mbengue out now (for a prolonged period I assume) I think we have 7 lamptey mbengue Burrell saito chair dembele obikwu
Look wider and the whole league is struggling …. 2x 3 game windows straddling a 4 match international window
The league and the schedule are putting players at serious risk - really hope that mbengue isn’t as serious as it looked |

I start a thread and you hijack with the wrong rugby code 😂 - we are suffering but so are other teams - I guess we’ve got better depth than we’ve had since being back in the championship and maybe that’s how we’ll make top 8 |

What a team - fully deserved point and the spirit and guts in this team is the best since warnock - anyone being negative about this team needs to get a life |

Was in the upper loft right behind the goal …. Went mental - didn’t get tackled to floor by Clive like I did the last time I watched us play Preston but the atmosphere was sensational and nice to see the manager give a nod to it |

Just home - what a second half performance- the players the manager and the fans need a lot of credit - the atmosphere was off the charts in second half - took daughter (25) she comes a bit with me and son (22) hasn’t been for 10 years. Both loved it and were looking at the bulk ticket option thing . Son with the line of the day “the last time I came dad there was plenty of leg room)
Poku my man of the match - bossed the second half was brilliant to watch and kept playing
Adamson again strong - edwards superb - smiths goal iconic - Madsen so unlucky with the FK |

Got home at midnight - bloody M1 shut
Great win and so much to enjoy in that performance- I normally get to 4/5 games a season but I’m going to increase that this season
I’ve decided I’m not going to even bother looking at possession stats anymore
We were by far the better team - but the stats suggest it was a bit of a mugging
Positives - build up play and chances created - the best I’ve seen it since coming down - both flanks possess loads of attacking threat - recruitment at full back and on the wings is really paying dividends. Midfield kamara was outstanding Madsen a good foil and Edward’s really reminds me of Terry fenwick (showing My age). GK - Charles didn’t pass brilliantly but he claimed or punched every cross he could get to. The bench - it’s the strongest bench we’ve had since rednapp days - it’s very well assembled
The middle stuff - defence was pretty solid again but we really dropped very deep In 2nd half and some old habits came back - SUBS- I was amazed that Lloyd and Mbengue weren’t the first men off the pitch - both were absolutely gassed and we carried Lloyd for another 5-10 mins - I like him but he should have had a couple - vale was frustrating some very good link up play and then wasteful passes and he should have picked up a goal with his left foot
Last thoughts is that although it was close - JS read the first game of a 3 game week perfectly (just) lots of players got rest and we got the 3 points - boro will be tough but we can compete with this squad. For our budget I think we have the best possible squad we can have. I think were going to batter someone in the next few weeks
Great atmosphere in the ground
MOTM for me was KAmara just shading Lamptey and Burrell with mentions to Edward’s and Dunne |

Lots to like - winning the ball high up and some pacey attacks but we look a little toothless in attack - poor old Lloyd should have a couple
That said Cardiff look dangerous too
Cmon rangers we need a second
Btw how the F have we got lamptey and kamara ??
So good
Be tempted to bring smyth on for Lloyd because there’s a lot of room down the right and Burrell could stay more central |

Ye olde fighting cocks in shortens always claimed to be the oldest and was my “local” from 16 years old - I was tall so no need for ID in the 80s - cracking pub and very good beer garden - I’ve not been back in a while and there was a rumour it was going to close which would be a massive shame |
