Adam Worth continues his rise as Swansea City promote him to Recruitment Directo
at 13:51 28 Dec 2025

Inoussa a great asset! Seriously?
There is no way if he is properly scouted we will get more than £1 mill for him and then he will need a manager who is willing to spend half of his managerial life kicking him up the backside.
What did we pay for Widdell - £1mill? I like him but he's not going to fetch fortunes without one good season under his belt.

So does that mean he was a part of the team that produced the last bundle of transfer dealings? I understand making a big fuss about Galbraith and Marko, but dearie me what a mess that transfer window has created and now he's got a promotion. All of a sudden our current contrived league position means beating Oxford would be the most crucial points of the season OXFORD!!!

Why did we sign him in the first place? It was a well and accepted fact in football he had been identified as a 'one trick pony' which once recognised and dealt with made him nigh on useless. seems the rest of the football family knew apart from our amazing steering committee.

Much better when he plays in front of the East Stand and doesn't have to cope with all the negativity that comes from there. Shameful noise which thrives on negativity - Key written off - tick - Ronald - nearly tick.
Ronald reads the game so well, he is quite often the only player in our team that reads a problem and reacts accordingly, particularly on cutting down opposition space and movement.
Couple of occasions were most definitely not cheating, some referees have made decisions in their head before they even blow a whistle.

Vipotnik and Widell our two best players - they could be, but overall performances - no.

He has far less than 48 hours in the most chaotic dressing room he has as ever encountered in his career before he assesses the line up. If he can muster up 7 points by the end of the year he will be doing well.

Every single opposition manager, from the word go doubles up in defending against Ronald, and most don't bother to allocate even one man to watch Inoussa fall over, he can do that on his own, without much help from defenders. I don't give a toss for his nationality, I love his commitment to the cause, his teammates seem to really appreciate him.

If Inoussa is worth £6 million (and he must be because we had the best transfer window ever!" - then Ronald is worth £12 million+

After the almighty mess the hierarchy made of the transfer window, I have little faith in their decision-making. With millions thrown down the drain, and three good young Swans out on loan, who will be good enough for Championship football next year - to save money which the hierarchy have wasted many times over!! We have some good new players added to the squad, but at what cost?
And yet I have a tiny gut feeling this appointment might work out, there can be no faffing about with his overall target - 21 matches to avoid relegation.

I think we were absolutely superb in the first half against Leicester - we looked much more like a top team than they did. Their goal* rocked our confidence, which have never recovered. The poor support the team has received since then has compounded this issue. Get off players backs, mistakes will be made, but positive encouragement from the stands can only help in an anxious environment we can expect today.
*Can someone look at those final seconds before they scored and tell me what the hell Inoussa was doing during that build up other than his usual flouncing about.

All my comments of this year are coming true. An absolute joke of a transfer window, the lack of any understanding of how team sports actually work is mind blowing. How a manager is meant to cope with this utter mess of a squad is beyond me. This new set up at the top of the club should stand up and admit their myriad mistakes. Let alone the £10 -£15 million we are going to lose im tohe transfer market before the dust settles.

Inoussa is useless, we'd be better off playing with ten than having him anywhere near the playing surface - offers nothing when it really matters (£6 million what a massive waste of money, but he does fall over quite well and does a good job at appearing he's been shot by a sniper and having a lie down for 5 minutes.
Widell looks completely lost 100%% of the time.
"The last window was one of the best we have had in a decade, that’s accepted virtually everywhere," NOT BY ME - and the proof is in the pudding.
We've brought in some excellent players and the owners have screwed it up by getting confused between the values of quality and quantity.

Yalcouye, and Inoussa you must absolutely be joking!
Idah looks utterly useless (£6 million- - mind you we did get £4million for that waste of space Grimes which the Snoop Dog gang on here thought was brilliant business)
Jack 247 probably my favourite poster on here but you seem to be losing the plot recently.
I am turning to be so right about my judgement on our "ludricous" transfer window.
Have a look at the league table, am I right or wrong?

Vigaroux has been superb today and all season. At least 2 players in the starting linr up nowhere godd enough to get in last year's squad, but there again we've had our best transfer window ever - give me strength!!
