Ms Church comes across as a champagne socialist — plenty of grand principles, but perhaps less enthusiasm for the practical consequences.

Gav was right to walk away.

Perhaps she could put some of those principles into practice by offering accommodation at her country retreat to people who have entered the country illegally.

Not a chance WR.

Lisa Nandy this morning on the box stating that they need to be spread around the country is missing the point, they don't need to spread around the country they need to be stopped from coming here.

Just because her constituency in Wigan has turned into a Shitehole of HMO & immigrants doesn't mean the rest of us have to tolerate it.

Personally those who vote for any left or Liberal party deserve the country & the consequences we have (& it will get far worse).

I find it hard to comprehend that leaflets are being handed out stating raping women isn't legal in the UK & women residents are being told not to dress in certain ways.

That's how far our once great country has fallen.

Piddington is in an area that vote for the Liberal Democrats at the last election.

Its rather ironic that they are now complaining about asylum seekers being housed close to their village.

Similar happens when you walk into a pub in parts of West Wales & they all start speaking Welsh.

It certainly doesn't make them more Welsh than me. In fact Id go as far as say I am far more concerned about Wales thriving as a country than the PC lot.

Personal opinion but I think Wales (as a country) has far more important things to spend money on than promoting the Welsh language.

As for unfriendly parts of the country, I find if you treat people with respect they give it back wherever you are.
