They might have to fill in the form but it is compulsory. United had to get special dispensation from FA not to take part a few years ago when Blatter had the world club cup extravaganza in Brazil. |

Keep the FA Cup as is (ie played at weekends with replays) but make participation voluntary. We might lose 2 or 3 clubs who dont need the fame and prize money because they are almost guaranteed champions league participation and its riches but for most premier league clubs its another route to the riches of european qualification. |

Id like to think at Dale we have a diverse group of fans …all I care about is they are Dale fans…I have no wish to know about their personal characteristics or attributes…all welcome and all respected…at least those who behave anyway. |

I have put far more money into supporting Dale than in supporting hornets and over a longer period.There is no law against supporting both teams, even if in your view that makes me a lesser person. |

Joe Root had the perfect response to homophobic bile. Turn it around onto the homophobes.
The Hornets offer is not compusory as far as I am aware….no one will be rounding up dale season ticket holders and frog marching them to spotland…its an offer for those who might be interested. |

So you are not disagreeing there is plenty of bile on both sides, just trying to tot up the quantity of bile.
So now you seem to have established by some means they win the bile stakes how do you suggest we move forward to benefit the professional sports teams of the town.
Neither dale nor hornets have any control over what people put on twitter…so why do you want to decry the efforts of the the rugby club and team. They have made a generous gesture to those dale fans who might be interested in supporting their local team. Well done Hornets.
And if those dale fans who might take up the offer happen to have a drink while at the game thats more money for dale. |

Plenty of bile on here towards Hornets without having to explore twitter.
I support both teams but dont do twitter.
Time to follow Dalians suggestion, bury hatchets and get on for the good of both clubs.
After all its the teams we want to see do well, not get into some sort of love in with the supporters.
One of the favourites for promotion, the currently unbeaten Keighley scraped past hornets by tries scored in the last minute of both halves. Hornets have possibly the best half back pairing in the division. |

There are a hell of a lot of long trips for teams in NL tomorrow. You would think if they are kicking off games at lunchtime they would try and organise games that where a bit less onerous on clubs and fans. |

I remember the1968 final test at the Oval when rain appeared to have ruined Englands chances of squaring the Ashes series. Amazing effort by ground staff and volunteers to get the pitch playable on final afternoon. With ten men around the bat ‘deadly’ Derek got them. |
