Club is only hurting itself by treating some players like crap this season.
Nardi would have comfortably saved the first and third.
Frey would have been perfect to waste time and keep the ball in the corner.
Why isn’t Edwards getting minutes.
So much weird stuff going on that caused this self-implosion |

He was 150% at fault for the second.
Any decent keeper catches that ball, drops down to the floor to kill time and retain possession |

That’s got to be the most defeatist post I’ve ever seen. You think we were fantastic and it’s the schedule to blame? You do understand all football teams have a difficult schedule. Have you seen how poorly we play against ten men? And now how poorly we play with ten men? It shows we aren’t coached properly and our mentality stinks. A fan accepting that today was acceptable is very worrying. |

Absolutely awful. Unprofessional. Suggests the players are mentally weak and don’t get coached properly. I’ve never seen a team totally collapse when they go down to ten men. Walsh is garbage I’m afraid - at fault the first two goals especially the second. The guys in front of him panicked. Mbengue is a hot head but the manager knows it and should have acted. Similar to just waiting for Smyth to get a red - the ref had already let us off once. No Edwards again, makes no sense. And this team is still somehow near the play offs |

Would be a fantastic signing.
Great player, very young, England u21 caps, good price
4.5 million is nothing in today’s market, we can’t forget that it’s a lot to us but nothing to a team like Southampton
Anyone who doesn’t think we need him is mad - we’ve used Cook virtually every game this season and conceded the second most goals in the entire league! [Post edited 8 Jan 20:22]

Most players do not have the ability to score two goals after barely featuring for half a season.
Yeah hes gonna misplace some passes. But to be that clinical is outstanding for his age and lack of game time.
Some of you need to lay off him big time |

I like Frey, he did a great job for us last season. It’s quite hard to get into your stride when you’re an older player who’s built like a truck when you only feature 5 minutes here or there. He was very good at killing off the game in the home match against WBA. He has his uses. |

Which team in the play off picture right now is “consistent”? Considering we are 3 points off third it suggests nobody is consistent outside of the top two right now.. and we have January as well as another half of the season to get it right |

He has been very disappointing this season - his persistent cramping is a worry.
Take him out of the side for a bit when Chair and Poku are back.
Let him get fit and reintroduce him in a few weeks.
He’s a very good player, I’m sure of that. Just having a bad “moment” |
