Another shout out for Tyler.
He was really really young when he stepped in and he replaced the popular Nick London under controversial circumstances which can’t have been easy.
Done a fantastic job and clearly caught the Rangers bug - makes watching the streams so much better having Tyler and Andy on it |

The quality of our football this season has been the best I’ve seen since Warbs (and arguably better), we’re strong at the back with a great keeper (Saturday blip excepted), the squad finally has some heart and fight in it (see also Sat) and we’ve got a deep group that isn’t full of unproven kids we might have to throw in in emergencies.
I’m really looking forward to the rest of the season, yes we should have had more points but I’m looking forward to seeing us play West Ham / Southampton. I think we’ll surprise them |

I think he knew he fked up with his first half selection, went full effort in the dressing room at half time, timed his subs right and ultimately was buzzing on how well it worked out. And he should be. I’ve never seen 10 men dominate 11 men like that, ever. Preston were no doubt crap and on the back foot but you still have to make it count
The Preston of old 2-0 up against ten after half an hour? Against a past Rangers team that would have been a walk in the park

Can everyone stop sticking up for Karl Ready
To be fair he always tried and had beautiful 90s curtains but the day we sold Darren Peacock and decided Karl Ready from the youth team was an adequate replacement was the day we condemned Rangers to the 30 year slump we’re still trying to escape

We looked absolutely knackered - injuries starting to bite and Smyth becomes the fifth first team player to limp off in the first half in three games

Didn’t take long for our mega bench to start looking depleted!

I’ll never forget that season getting back to the Crown and Sceptre after we’d dicked Reading 4-0 or something and Adel ran the show from start to finish. I knew we were going up and it was only November
It was the first and only time I’ve ever seen anyone rainbow flick the ball over his own head to beat someone in a game, after which he was hunted down by three enraged Reading defenders and hacked to pieces |

I think with Kone the basic fact is he’s not matchfit/still carrying something and hasn’t been right since the end of last season
I hate the encroaching Rangers tendency to start writing him off - he carried our front line single handedly through the second half of last season alone and never had a day off so I’m not surprised his body is punching back.
Even today he monstered their centre backs a few times and got some nice layoffs off, and the player from last season who was strong, confident and bullied the oppo is still in there
If we’ve learned anything from Madsen let’s acknowledge that some players need confidence to operate and we already know Kone has it in him |

I like the black kit, but if I was Mr Q our kit sponsor I’d be having some serious reservations about value for money given you basically can’t see it in most of the games we’ve played
Encouraging it for the home game too seems like a massive additional fk you

Agreed - last night was his best game for us by some distance and there were a few moments where he either flicked an aimless long ball nicely to Burrell or took a ball up front on his own with 4 defenders around him and kept it alive. His target man game has come on nicely and having the option of two pace merchants up front will be a nightmare for high defences.
He’s definitely improving and that’s all you can ask, he looks like a decent player to have in the current squad. He’s never going to score 20 a season but you can’t have it all |

If you’ve got young kids echo some of the others here - drive to a nice part of France with all your kids’ sh-t and home comforts and plot up in one of their holiday camps.
France is noticeably cheaper than the UK these days, you’ll run into loads of Brits/Germans/Dutch and the locals doing the same thing, and you’ve got your own motor on hand for free.
