Played crap first half. Down to 10 men for a lot of the game. Came out and went for it and made people forget that fact. Passion, and fight and a great goal in the last minute to get a well deserved point and could have won it at the end. There's the rub |

He has had a very interrupted start to the season. I think this is purely him managing his fitness, rather than burning out to soon. Also last season, he was our only progressive player and now the others have so far stepped up a level.
I think in a few weeks we will see the same player again |

When everyone is fit he comes in at right back. I noticed that Jimmy was getting very frustrated with Mbengue yesterday. One time told to pass to the keeper, whacked it down the line and gave away procession. Didn't track Cantwell for his header at the back post, and there was another incident where Mbengue let the ball bounce in the box. Didn't anticipate it might come to him. There were a lot of other incidents yesterday where the two CB's had a go at him. Mbengue started the season well but we saw how good Lamptey was and playing off the left |

So far some good football being played. I would like to think we are seeing the benefits of not changing the manager. An evolution of what we were last season, we player purchased with this in mind. You can see the work that has been done on the training pitch |

You mean the guy who has just joined and isn't match fit and the guy who had been coming back from an ACL. On this occasion I'll go with what the manager as going with. Good players to bring on if needed. Ideally they aren't needed at all and another week of training and fitness for them |

Let's see after a dozen games. A lot of us are to quick to write off and far too quick to say a player is the second coming. He had an ok game today. He scored two and did some good things. Needs to play to his strengths. Keep the ball moving , and pass and move. Stop holding on to the ball too long.
He has had a couple of terrible seasons with injuries. Let's just give him time to enjoy his football and realise he has players who can help him |

Yes he scored two goals but less see how he goes. I think he needs to be quicker with his passing. There was a time where he was our main man and match winner but with the quality of the squad now, he doesn't have to try and do it all himself. There will also be games where he might not be suited. Some of his best play was when he got the ball and quickly moved it on. One great ball out wide springs to mind. |

I normally don't mind Gabs stuff but he needed to left Clive talk more. He would ask a question that went on for ever and then interrupt the answer. Was also very surprised by his take on Vale. Seems as though he also took all the Nourry stuff and the injuries and face value |

It's not a case of having your facts right or wrong. A lot of the comments will be an opinion, and if that is your opinion on Amit you should stick with it. None of us were in boardroom meetings and we all make assumptions on the information at hand to favor our own opinion. You should never feel sorry for voicing an opinion |

I use to like watching Arsenal but Arteta drives me nuts. Jumping up and down on the touchline. Players can't think for themselves anymore or he won't let them. Really needs someone to come sliding in knee high. I thought a few weeks back he was changing the narrative by mentioning how things were going against them, the injustice etc as I think he thought they had blown it.
Really boring football. Not trying to win, but making sure they don't lose. Maybe nick it with a set piece. With that squad they should aspire to be more than that.
I think he went like this as he had tried everything else and if they didn't win it this season, he didn't know what to do. Hopefully if Pep goes Arteta will try to be his own man rather than imitate Pep. I mean he even dresses like him.
Will need to avoid Ian Wright too now for a bit as he will be constantly crying and screaming on tv about the league title lol |
