Yes, the National League North/South didn't exist then (formed 2004/05) so the Northern Premier League was one level higher then than it is now. If we'd lost that year to Hednesford Town or someone else with a "normal" name it'd be far less remembered than it still is IMO. |

Credit to you for using Castellanos' full name Clive. I don't care what it might mean in Italian, any grown man calling himself Taty can get in the bin. |

Speaking of fans yesterday, I'm pretty sure I was sat near Henry Lloyd-Hughes yesterday (Donovan from The Inbetweeners). I know the family are all QPR fans so its not that unsurprising. |

Funny enough one of the Dogs I saw yesterday was being handled by a lady wearing a "Dog Mum" woolly hat so it doesn't entirely suggest that it was a highly trained working hound... It always makes me chuckle going to the loos in the Ellerslie Road stand before home games these days seeing queues for the sit-down loos. I can't imagine they're all queuing for a poo and are too shy to use a urinal in case someone else catches a glimpse of their knob... |

What about when we both qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup though? I'd hate us to miss out on that... |

Article on BBC about this today... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/fo Although for some reason they've completely ignored the ridiculous transfer going-ons between Watford and Udinese over the last decade. Scummy Championship not worth considering anymore I guess. |

Like others, enjoyed the day and as I put on the stadium thread it was nice to see QPR in a big arena like that again. But also like others I definitely came away disappointed because I felt on another day we'd have caused an upset. It was just the benches in the end that made the difference, we didn't have the quality to bring on whilst they could bring players on that were at least the same standard as those coming off and it showed. I thought for a Premier League team though West Ham were garbage. Summerville the only player to me who stood out as being a cut above everyone else on the pitch, even Bowen I thought was very average. Very unlikely they stay up I think. |

We were in the lower tier, block 125 row 19. I thought the view was great, in the context of the stadium. Both me and my Dad thought it was really nice to see QPR play in a big arena like that again, its been a while. But...I enjoyed it because it was really a one-off. I would not like that being my everyday homegame experience at all. The security getting in was a pain, I suspected it would be so we got there early, there isn't any "home" feel to it at all where you might meet up with people you know outside for a chat like standing on South Africa Road at QPR. Getting out was a pain. It took us 35 minutes to walk to Stratford International. With extra time as well we ended up on a much later train from St Pancras back to the Midlands than we would for a normal 3pm kick off. At least the Javelin train only takes 6 minutes! Definitely spoiled at QPR with how easy it is to get to public transport, but also if you're driving back to where you can park for free and onto the A40 / A406. |

They've now u-turned on this claiming it was a logistics issue. A local Domino's Pizza franchise offered to give free pizza and mince pies to any stewards turning up with their passes. Online fanbase seems to be split in two, one being defensive of all things King Power (I would kindly suggest burying their heads in the sand) and the other half see it as another sign its all falling apart in a dumpster fife. |

I dont know budget hotels in the area but Heathrow is the nearest airport, but its so easy to get into central London you've got literally hundreds to choose from. Can't beat Travelodge / Premier Inn for basic know what you're getting hotels. |

This. Our Ilias thrives with better players too (just think back to the glorious days of Illy and Willy...when Willy was still bothered!) I'd have him ahead of Saito in the pecking order at the minute, as much as I like little Koki, cutting in and he finally has quality in the centre to aim for with Kone and Burrell. Ilias is still a key part of this club. |

I have read this but its a change that staff should be given 6-12 months notice for in a well run business, not told the afternoon before. So at best, its appallingly bad company management, at worst, its an excuse to hide further issues. Time will tell! |

See reports saying non-footballing Leicester City staff are not going to receive their December wages before Christmas like usual. More red flags than the Soviet Union there. |

Picked up 2 for me and my Dad. Unusual to have choice for an away game, but maybe that will help in the situation where other people try to take over your seat as they've already selected it. I have zero idea what the sightlines are like at the Olympic Stadium so I went lower tier but to the right of the goal, row 19, so hopefully we're not a crap view stuck right on the bottom, but also not miles away behind that big platform thing. Also being right of the goal will hopefully help as I imagine the rowdiest will want to be front and centre behind the goal... Either way I'll probably suggest to my Dad we get there early! |

Not hear, but see, but bring back launching toilet rolls from behind the ground onto the pitch. It was environmentally friendly too, beats all this silly pyro stuff! |

I think with De Canio it came down to moving back to Italy to keep his marriage together, that's certainly the story I've heard most over the years. Shame though, I really liked him and the football we played with him, it was fun. We had some cracking wins in the second half of the season once the money flowed and we had a better squad (3-0 v Bristol City, 3-0 v Stoke both springing to mind...) |

Getting whacked 4-1 by Peterborough on a Tuesday night with "You're not famous anymore" being sung at us a particular lowlight. |
