Thread | Impressions of Swansea

I have just been back to Swansea after being away for five years. Let's start with the bad, the Kingsway is a hot mess, when we left it had been converted for the bendy bus and after a couple of deaths it is being changed again, well what a waste of money, good grief it wouldn't have taken the foresight of Nostradamus to have predicted the problems that system would have caused. Secondly the amount of people begging and sleeping on the pavement. The good, well the people are still the salt of earth and atmosphere of the city is of a modern confident metropolis. When we left the city, we felt sad that we were leaving a place that we used to call home and also still Swansea is still a city led by incompetent idiots in the council and not by visionary leaders. |

As I trawl through SSN daily to try and keep informed on the latest installment in the Gylfi saga another club on Merseyside are being slightly two-faced in their transfer dealings. Phillpe Coutinho is being courted quite heavily by Barcelona to extent that the player wants to go and play for the Catalan super team, Liverpool quite rightly are miffed that they will eventually lose their best player to Barca , stating this is underhand, improper and Klopp has stated they will fight tooth and nail to keep arguably their best midfielder.
Meanwhile Liverpool are still chasing and will eventually get their long time target Virgil Van Dijk, with the Dutchman wanting to leave Southampton for the Merseyside reds, incidentally Liverpool have been charged by the FA for tapping up the Centre Half ....! Seems that there is one law and set of morals for the so-called 'big clubs' and the 'lesser clubs can go and basically 'f*ck themselves' !!!!

Well Ms Clinton has wrapped up the Democratic nomination for the President even though she could be indicted by the FBI over the private email server scandal. Uncle Bernie is staying in, mainly hoping that she is charged and he can take over the nomination even if that happens we will end up with a President Trump. |

Well, well the suspects are out again! Dwightyorkesuperstar and Chippy being the main knobs, from the day Monk was appointed they have been sniping at the guy,as with the Laudrup sacking these so-called fans want us to fail,so they can say with smug smile 'I told you so!'. There many excellent posters on here like Clasey,Blaze and the good Doctors. Blaze questioned Monks reasoning and I respect him for that as he says it for the love of the team, but DYSS and Chippy are sh1t stirring arseholes who need to shut up or have something constructive to say. |
