![]() Monday, 29th Mar 2010 06:07 David Edgar says that confidence in the Swansea camp remains high despite a poor run of results Edgar made his Swansea City debut in saturday's disappointing 0-0 draw with Ipswich at the Liberty - a result that leaves the Swans five points clear of the non play off spaces with just 6 games left of the season. But Edgar insists that the run of 1 win in 7 is not worrying the players at the moment and confidence remains high with the Swans now having a rare 7 day break in between fixtures. Edgar told the Western Mail “Coming in from the outside you’re able to see things a bit clearer “The league table speaks for itself. It’s a brilliant dressing room where no-one has got their heads down. Before I signed, the lads at Burnley said Swansea are probably the best footballing side in the Championship; and they were right. They keep the ball unbelievably well and I’ve never played in a team that pass their way from the back like we did. We kept a good clean sheet and the only thing we lacked was that goal-scoring touch. “But we’ve shown we’ve got the attacking ability with the chances we’ve created and it’s going to be a case of one goal and the rest will come. They are exciting times here and it’s good to be a part of it. “I think a lot of the lads have been quite tired but we’ve a full week to rest now before the derby.” Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
