McCardle gets NI call up

McArdle has been a  regular for the Northern Ireland u-21's over the years, but this is the firs time that he has been called up for the full squad. He joins up for an end of season tour, with a game against Turkey taking place in Connecticut and a game against Chile in Chillan.

He is joined in the squad by former Dale striker Rory Patterson who played a handful of games a few years between 2002 and 2004.
