Match Thread - QPR v Hull 20:21 - Aug 15 with 13293 viewsfreddieeddie

I know it's early and I'm Mr Unlucky but I did start the home semi v Wigan and the final against Derby. So thought I'd chance me arm for a third time.

I reckon line up of

Green
Simpson
Traore
Caulker
Ferdinand
Onouha
Mutch
Barton
Hoilett
Austin
Remy

Score 1-1

Remy, Chief etc but its Brian McCarthys absence which is worrying, will we have his commentary? Even if he only has text updates we seem to to play well in his version of events

I'm here! Won't be able to do the updates, though. Apologies!

No Ned??? Hmmm....

Very exciting line up and we're not even at full strength. I predicted a loss but my heart says we'll win

No Ned and a muted Brian Mc, it will be a long afternoon!!
Anyone know who Hull are starting with up front?

Jelavic and Tom Ince up top. Snodgrass, Huddlestone and Livermore try and outwit Mutch, Barton and Faurlin.
The relentless Elmahadomy (sic) pressures Traore and Dunne...gonna be close...Steve Black's philosophy "find a way" and win your individual battles for the team.
Defend well, pass well in midfield, retain the ball, give Remy and Austin chances...interesting to see QPR go into a game with a philosophy of attempting to win...a performance that will set our stall out, has Hoddle had enough time? So many questions, no answers...

Jelavic wont worry them with pace so need Caulker to keep an eye on Ince I assume.
In many ways a 3 at the back allows defenders to pick up who they want rather than marking an area and having to pick up whoever comes into that area, could suit Dunne

Elmohamody is relentless, one of the most proficient crossers of the ball in the prem.
I'm interested to see how robust and stable 352 is against an assault of wing play against somebody like Traore backed up from Dunne...it does seem the only flaw in the plan....but hey ho, Harry knows best?

for me other than ned, about the best line up we can muster at the moment, other than the obvious the bench definately has the whiff of the championship about it.

be happy with a 1-1 for a solid start.

get some in rangers.

Ale looking very lively so far. He has been at the center of our midfield playing intelligently. Encouraging stuff.

Watching online through NBCSportsExtra. Best thing about being in Prem is not having to rely on dodgy streams.

Think we were lucky on that one. Could have been a penalty.

We are looking pretty decent thus far though.

That Mutch chance was gilt edged.

We're playing quite nicely, just need to finish one of these.

Our back line is huge; three bloody man-mountains back there. Ale is looking very lively in midfield. And Mutch is doing a lot right. And then Remy looks dangerous every time he gets the ball. Now we just have to get the ball in the back of the net.
