Not for us, but for Bury. i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged only Wednesday this week. looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

At least they are giving updates when fans ask now, even if they’re not actually saying very much. You’d have to call it progression whereas not responding at all to supporters concerns or questions is plain poor.
We understand what we are asking of fans, you’re in a situation where you are blindly trusting people with the future of your and our club and we ask for you to do so for a little time more
Don’t this lot remember their history?
On 30 May 2013 they blindly put their trust in someone.
That person was someone who:
1. Was a lifelong football fan, whose passion to rebuild Bury Football Club both on and off he pitch is second to none. 2. Had identified a new team of individuals to work within the club to make sure that the historic financial perils will never be faced again. 3. Was an open individual that will not hide from any of the fans questioning and will openly invite people to the club in the next few weeks to share his vision for the future of this amazing football club.
Isn’t that person the kind of saviour they need now?
5 full days before the date of the WUP hearing and that’s the best they can muster?
Thoroughly convinced they are dead in the water based on that statement.
George Bernard Shaw had it right:
"He who can does; he who cannot, teaches."

Some great I told you so thread's on the bury message board. Lots of people saying it's okay with hindsight to call Day. Not seen one yet quoting this thread as hindsight, or even quoting this thread at all

"Don’t this lot remember their history? "
Not recent history. However they are very good with FA Cup history early last century.

From the bucket board:
I've now seen a copy of the full accounts and they're extremely worrying. Key points:
- Worsening trading position losses both gross in 2015 (gross profit decreased by £587k — sales down £116k, costs up £472k) and net loss in both 2014 & 2015 worse by £1,372k (Admin expenses increased by £787k) - What are they spending money on only £164K of charges is related to the player’s registration fees (only £28k in 2014) - liquidity problem with £4.7 net current liabilities due to the short-term loans - How risky is lending to this business given the type of fixed assets and their true realisable value if it came to it — Or could the site be residential developed and so current use valuation is misleading for a lender? - Lack of control of trade debtors up from £93k (12 days of sales) to £238k (33 days of sales) - Got liquidity issues but have big jump in prepayments and accrued income — if due to prepayments that means have paid up front when have cash flow problems or for accrued income are including in turnover income that haven’t yet invoiced but relates to this year seems strange for a football club? - £7.5 million revolving credit facility provided by a limited company not a bank — that usually means that it can disappear overnight! - Trade creditors worsening up £404k to £936k (75% increase on previous year) - Who are Charles Street Commercial Investments Ltd? They took a charge on the club’s property on 26 October 2015, but are not disclosed as being secured creditors. Per accounts they are financiers. Directors HN Moser and GD Beckett. Latest accounts 31 March 2015 Sales £4.6m (2014 £2.7m), Operating profit £3.0m (2014 £2.4m), Profit before tax £2.4m (2014 £2.2m), Net Assets £6.6m - includes £34.9m of loan debtors and £27.2m loan creditors all debtors and creditors due within 1 year (2014 £4.8m — includes loan debtors £14.5m and loan creditors £10.8m) - What is the PFA’s charge on the Stadium taken on 1 May 2013? - But for the £4.8 million property revaluation the balance sheet would be massively insolvent - Valuation done by a chartered surveyor M J Scholey — but who is he? A one man band in Bradford or a specialist? - Intangible assets — players registration fees spending £260k in year and on short term contracts as £164k amortisation charge suggests writing them off over 2.5 years - Brewery loan on social club £245k on revalued down freehold property of £147k revalued cost (Net Book Value £144k, but that is for more than the social club as it includes community offices) — hope there is some fixtures & fittings to give the brewery cover on their loan - Why did they buy freehold property £47.5k additions in year? - Who was issued £1,015,468 Share capital in the year which was paid for in cash? Mr SP Day? - SG Sports Management Ltd — latest filed accounts for y/e 31 May 2014 show Net Assets of just £406. 2015 accounts are overdue since 29 Feb 2016, as a result First Gazette Notice for Compulsory Striking Off notice filed 3 May 2016. Director SP Day resigned 1 Feb 2016.

Keith Maddock has always been blinkered with his clubline twitter account but this tweet at the weekend sums up the ostrich syndrome that runs through the whole club.
"there has a been a lot of bad practice surrounding bury over the last few months"
Erm.. Try close on 20 years Keith!!!!

There has been a lot of bad practice surrounding Bury over the last few months and as I write with only 3 days to the next court date any outcome is still possible. Not playing players and staff or paying them very late is unsettling but I don’t know if it’s even worse when a few

Its nearly here, I do hope justice is served, but I have a horrible feeling they will sneak away again. Punishment needs to be severe this time, they have got away with it for far too long, and the majority of their fans have no humility therefore no sympathy from me.
