That car park 'investment scheme' was shocking didn't people lose their life savings? The money raised would surely be better spent paying for towards a solicitor to start a class action lawsuit.

Yes mate so I believe, maybe not the best post in the circumstances but how many local businesses, Charities suffered... they should be paid... probably about page 180 but agree 100% with your post 👠

The only people who bought car parking places were complete fools. If anyone did lose life savings, which I doubt, they deserve no sympathy for their stupidity. Local businesses do deserve sympathy who that bastard of a club ripped off.

Anyone who's lost money as a result of that shite shower deserves sympathy, agreed about it could have been predicted but sadly some folk are far too trusting of others and get caught out by such scams

Good to see that the Bury supporters on Facebook aren't getting too carried away given the several false dawns they've experienced over the last few years... Apart from the ones wondering if Ryan Lowe would come back as manager!

I’m sure big Sam will be looking for a job by then. He likes helping clubs who are struggling. His wages shouldn’t be a problem for a club like bUry 😊

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 11:53 - Jan 14 with 4423 views | sxdale | This Hilton bloke, is a property developer with one site a pub in Derbyshire that is slowly decaying until he can get planning permission to build an apartment block. Has 3 companies none of which has any cash in them. The train is pulling into the station and they are falling over themselves to clamber aboard and enjoy the next ride. To be honest I almost feel sorry for the bury afc lot, almost!

No real change then tbh, the debt will still be on the club as nobody in their right mind would pay off the debts no matter how wealthy they are......

Staggering isn't it. No questions asked about this blokes motives, finances and whatever else. Back on the ride. Seen a picture of him tarting up a non-league ground with some new seats and decided he's the real deal.... twice bitten, thrice shy?! If (!) a Bury FC side gets back together, I think it'll be the slow death of AFC. Their season will surely be binned off soon. Any potential momentum was slowed with the crowd limits - no games and no potential promotion will be damaging. They'll retain a hardcore membership but a lot would drift back to BFC. I suspect there's a chunk who have no interest in either any more. Didn't fancy AFC and don't want to associate themselves with the characters and chancers around BFC. Don't blame them.

Last set of accounts at Maxwell Cohen showed a princely sum of £1,002 in the bank. Last bury Times article said the purchase could not go ahead https://www.burytimes.co.uk/news/18974824.bury-fc-talks-cannot-proceed-reveals-p

Good England by whoever wrote that. I’m absolutely convinced they just do stuff to amuse us. The Twitter fallout is absolutely spectacular and proves what absolute clowns they are. The one who accused us of being jealous of bury the other week is particularly funny.
