Not for us, but for Bury.
i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

Poll: Would we have a stronger management team with Flicker back ?

Please can someone remind who that bloke was who took the manager's job after Ryan Lowe left for Plymouth. Think he left Truro to take over but it seemed to me at the time that it was like a new captain taking over control of the titanic halfway across the Atlantic! Wonder what happened to him?

Paul Wilkinson, ex Grimsby and Everton striker

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Just sent a cheque to prince ksanu abdullah akkinfiwa for £500 quid, seemed a more plausible chance of getting some of his late fathers money

Didn’t actually read that far in to notice that, what with their words meaning sod all for the last seven years, but that’s very special.

You can imagine the meeting:

“Mention the cup wins again”

“We always do that, need to add something”

“Neville Southall”

“Something else too...”

“The floodlights!!! People love lights. They will literally throw money at us if we mention the floodlights”

Idiots.

Can't see anything in that statement that suggests they have learned any lessons from decades of over spending and delusions of grandeur.

Not the first, according to this. Even that "Famous old club" Sheffield Utd tried them at Bramhall Lane, before bury. ( as quoted from the article.)
I am sure I read that Hornets played a game using car headlights, well before the 1950's, but could not find anything to confirm.
So I am not sure what they mean by "instrumental". Unless they mean the fiddle.

Hornets first floodlit match was played at Dane Street cricket ground (now Asda) on December 23rd 1878 when the opposition was Halifax.

They should give up on Bury FC and get behind Bury AFC seems like a lost cause.

It feels like a lifetime of begging.

Perceived success using other people’s money is no success at all.

Crock of **** and no lessons learned from administration 20 years ago when they asked to be bailed out.

Good luck AFC at least that’s a level that bury can compete and hopefully pay some fookin bills.

That famous old pub near a famous old club showing old video taped games must not be selling food as you obviously have nothing better to do...

What would really hiss me off is the Phoenix Sunday league team are calling themselves the shakers & I hear they have copywrited the nickname now....

Just the “Buckets” left (and empty ones) 🤣🤣🤣

Now fook off & harass the Phoenix
