tomorrow can't come quick enough 14:17 - Oct 16 with 2297066 views | batman | Not for us, but for Bury. i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged only Wednesday this week. looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 23:34 - Aug 25 by Sandyman | Have got some posts shared from behind their North Korean style message board wall. Remarkable how that, at last, some now realise Neville Neville inviting, nay, begging Stuart Day into the club, as still seen on YouTube videos, is now recognised as a calamitous error by their more realistic fans. (Not the ones who enjoyed the Day freebies, "enjoy the ride" element, obvs). And they named a stand after the man who killed BFC (still in administration with £12million in debts) with his actions. Priceless idiocy. I doubt we'll ever see an Andrew Kilpatrick or David Bottomley stand on our manor. |

Classic example of a bald man fighting over a comb. How bury can continue to amuse us even though they barely exist is priceless. Carry On bury - what a film that would be. Sid James as Neville Neville Patsy Rowlands chained to a drainpipe Frankie Howerd as Navy Boy Terry Scott as Stewart Day James Robertson Justice as Steve Dale

The “Bury” fans involved in this are showing themselves up as the predictable, selfish individuals they always were. They want the old Bury back on their terms, despite doing nothing to stop the old Bury disappearing and doing nothing constructive to create this new club they want. All this while the proactive, proper Bury fans put the effort in to create and support AFC. You couldn’t write it, except we did. In this thread.

The outcome from this will probably lead to more AFCers voting against the merger as they don't want anything to do with these Bury FC types, and who could blame them. Must admit, purely from a voyeuristic point of view, the idea of two Bury teams coexisting has some appeal. It'll probably be on a par with the Old Firm in terms of being so opposed with each other, though obviously on a much smaller scale. Given a merged team could still take 10-20 years to return to the EFL, there is definitely some short term future in this. But like I said, thats being voyeuristic. The reality is that the divided clubs has led to friends and family no longer speaking to each other which is impossible to fathom. All this over the letter "A".

And to think, they used to get so angry about how the letter “b” was utilised as well. They must really struggle playing Hangman.

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 21:43 - Sep 2 with 5278 views | Sandyman | We found the old saying "unity is strength" to be true as we fought together to save our club from predators. Even after meekly allowing two poor owners and NevNev to shaft their club, "unity is strength" is a concept still alien to those on the wrong side of the 467 / 468 / 471 / R2 routes. Meh, beat me to it. Heard the protest went well - a grand total of 7 turned up. That Dave Clarke who organised it is so easily led and the anti AFC lot have taken full advantage of him. He’s always been that way.

Edit: tweet deleted. Predictable. BuryFCSS=Bury Football Club Supporters’ Society. That’s the former Forever Bury. The supporters organisation that contributed to the downfall of their own football club. [Post edited 3 Sep 2022 20:17]

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 00:51 - Sep 23 with 3552 views | Sandyman | You honestly can't make this up. The idea that bury exist only for our amusement is exemplified here. The American money man behind the purchase of giggle lame has, without consultation, renamed one of the stands. Older Rochdale residents will be in bits laughing at this. Those who remember a man of that name in this town will recall he wasn't the most honest of gentlemen, smartly dressed though he was. Wholly appropriate! Sure some of the message board regulars will remember A A. Well, they did name another stand after the bloke that begged SD1 to join their hapless, still in administration club. Seems consistent. Always someone worse of than yourself! (NB: money man reckons it's named after a family member but the irony to older Dale fans and residents is delicious!)

I certainly do remember Arthur. Always associate him with an expensive Crombie overcoat for some reason. Used to sidle round town centre pubs.

In his later years, he was to be seen cruising around town on his mobility scooter, but still up to his old tricks of fleecing people of their hard earned. Always impeccably attired, very polite but every inch a crook.
