This rumour just won't go away, just had a text from someone saying as much and the betting has Hilly at 5/1 second fave....Still think it's doubtful but you never know....
Does anyone really think that Keith Hill would want to work with, or for, the Venkys ? It flies in the face of everything that he stands for. Blackburn is in a mess and getting worse.
I strogly susoect that they will want to appoint a manager with a proven track record at Championship level.
Step forward Paul Jewell or Steve Cotterill. Just can't see Hilly being tempted by that job.....

Huge sense of deja vu about bt his situation and I hope it doesn't happen. Had a great season in league one anday hill leaves for Barnsley, had a great season again..... hopefully he stays so we can build on this season

If Hill got offered the job at Blackburn he would be off in a flash, regardless of ownership they are a big club and local to him. We would always take him back again...

Chicken and the Egg A chicken and an egg are lying in bed. The chicken is leaning against the headboard smoking a cigarette with a satisfied smile on its face. The egg, looking a bit ticked off, grabs the sheet, rolls over, and says ... Well, I guess we finally answered "THAT question!"
Blackburn of 2016 don't look much different from Barnsley in 2011. If he sticks to his mantra of "Pick the chairman, not the club", he'd leave it well alone.

Have Blackburn actually got a chairman ? A guy on Blackburn's site appears to give the impression he's spoken to Hill - " Hill says Hill's not interested " ( in the Blackburn job).
I'd be really surprised if the Venkies or their advisors are actually aware of who Hill is. Having said that given the number of higher profile jobs vacant this summer I'd be surprised if Hill kicks off the next season at Spotland.

Keith has had some family news - his dad is poorly and has a brain tumour which he had removed last week. "He's gone out to America with his mum and two sisters. "It's been a good operation and we've all just had a beer in the changing room and sent a picture to him, wishing Keith senior to get well as soon as possible. "I'm sure he'll respond well to his chemotherapy so we wish him well.

Can only wish Hilly's dad a full recovery. Bound to be a time for personal reflection too.

Of all the times to say something along the lines of "it appears I got it wrong" or "maybe I shouldn't have been so quick to speculate", this was it. But no, you pick something out of that statement that you think somehow backs up what you said. Truly unbelievable.

I'm sure everybody at Dale wishes Hilly's Dad all the best and a speedy recovery. I hope the prognosis is good and Hill Snr goes on to make a good recovery and we see him at Spotland soon supporting his son continue the cracking job he's doing at Dale.

Utter bollocks Brierls. And that makes you a tool.
I've posted nothing whatsoever to justify that. My previous post was with the knowledge of what was happening with his dad. Read it again, and apologise.
