What a player this lad is. Lynch really couldn't cope with him until the last 20 minutes when he finally tired. But you can see why he was a goal machine at Grimsby. May get Wigan out of problems on his own. Would love to see him turn up here though. Fabulous player.
Thought Lynch did ok with him tbf... in actual fact, Lynch had a decent game and was composed on the ball and put some good passes forward.
Bogle has 100 goals in 193 games, so has a decent record.
Terrible moment early in the 2nd half when they had a break on 2 v 3. Wigan attacker running at Ned with another Rangers playing chasing behind the Wigan attacker, then Lynch comes across leaving Bogle with miles of space on the right hand side. Ball gets played through to Bogle who has all the time in the world to get a shot away and Smithies pulls off a worldy.
I mentioned him a couple of times on the match thread as he sounded like he was giving Lynch a torrid time from the comms.
First half they were having a running battle with both taking turns in fouling. Lynch got booked followed shortly by Bogle. I honestly thought one of them (or both) would end up getting sent off. He gave both Lynch and Bidwell the runaround at times. For the last 25 minutes or so Ned marked him and he became less effective.
I didn't notice as much in the second half because he wasn't directly in front of me, but in the first Lynch was properly all at sea. I like him, but he does this thing where if there's a "tricky" player he will try and smash them, and then lash out. Penalty was a classic example, he stepped into Bogle too quickly, got did and then lashed out despite Ned and Smithies still to beat.
I really like him overall though, just not his night
I like Lynch a lot (really very good on the ball) but he does have habit of dashing in tight and getting turned. Bogle was wriggling away from him time and time again in the first half.

Spent the Villa game doing that with Kodija over and over again until he scored.
Booked, warned, kicked the ball away, smashed into Hall, abused the lino. Very lucky to stay on the way the ref was chucking cards about!
Typical of refs today.Where a talking too would do they book for everything which was his problem yesterday but the didn't have the balls to send repeat offenders off.Poor ref.

Sums up the impossible job.
You thought bookings should have been talkings to, except the talkings to he DID do, you thought were bookings!
Others have said he was weak, Clive says 2 cautions would have been enough!
