Big name artists you have seen live on 09:42 - Oct 1 with 3388 views | byron | Seen loads of bands over the years but one stand out gig was seeing a proper legend of his time, Arthur Lee (of the band Love), a good buddy of Hendrix back in the day and some call the guru of that late 60’s scene in California. He had a mad life and actually went down for the 3 strikes and out law in the USA so he wasn’t gigging for years. When he got released he started touring and played the fleece in Bristol, coal exchange in Cardiff which were both amazing. He also did Glastonbury in 2003 I think I it was, a balmy summer eve. | |
