Signing of Clough is surreal as when could we ever in the past expected to sign a 3 million plus striker. He is probably on 15k a week plus and I really can’t see how this deal happened, unless it’s so heavily in 🌳 wanting him to get game time. I can’t see this becoming permanent in any way.
I thought he was nowhere near a 3 million player when they signed him, but expect him to do a good job for us. Surprised he never went to burton or even back to Bolton. |  |

I think he has had bad injuries & needs to get match fitness, I would assume that if fit it will be expected that he gets some decent game time. The fact that the loan is up to the new year only would suggest that his club see he could potentially be part of their plans later in the season. A potential big win for us as he will be keen to show his club what he can do & we can only benefit |  | | |
