What if McShane wants a deal for another two seasons on 3 grand a week? With his injury record they would be irresponsible to sanction such a deal. With Rathbone it could be that someone has met his release clause or another injury? |
Mcshane stated last week he had to prove his fitness, a half fit Mcshane gets into this team ,10% fit Mcshane is better than MJ and that other crap defender we have on the bench. Hes a different standard of player then what we have in defence, should be pulling out all the stops to keep him here.
Hes the difference between staying up or getting relegated. | |

On the subject of Rathbone, Martin on commentary responded to a Twitter question asking if he's really injured or it's just a cover up.

In all my years as a dale fan I have never seen anything as exciting as Matherson. This young man is absolutely brilliant and I am so glad I am able to watch him at Rochdale.
