Eoin Doyle to Bolton? 12:17 - Jul 9 with 3759 views | Laveritty | And so it starts...I am sure I read somewhere that they were supposed to be under some sort of embargo where they weren't allowed to pay players above a certain amount (think it came up in the Hendo thread?) Richie Wellens states "The money Bolton are throwing around for a player of his age, and a three-year deal at that, we couldn't get to that," Simply staggering!!! Eoin Doyle to Bolton? on 12:19 - Jul 9 with 3752 views | EllDale | Been nailed on for a few days as well apparently. And if you listen to gossip they've lined up deals for Sarjovic (sp?) from Plymouth and Andy Lonergan amongst others.

Eoin Doyle to Bolton? on 12:22 - Jul 9 with 3735 views | Dalenet | Its amazing what you can do when you write off all you debt and start again. No morals but the rules let them get away with it. The sooner the £2.5m salary cap comes in the better

That's the problem. With a proposed League Two cap of £1.5 million signings on big wages eat up a lot of cap space. I can only assume they are going to sign them on one year deals, or on contracts with some form of non promotion clause. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

My Bolton-supporting mate seems to think it's still in place. Either way, if they can afford Doyle, Lonergan, Sarcevic et al then it's obviously it's so high that it's a pointless cap to have at L2 level.

That would certainly be a sensible approach. Their average attendance fell from 15887 - 11157 over the last 3 seasons can't imagine gate receipts will take a big upsurge next season.

Those are figures we can only dream about......anyway, Radio Bolton will be slavering all over this.

Yes true, we'd need to extend the stadium to accommodate them. So which set of fans in League Two will take up the baton regarding Radio Bolton's commentary bias
