| Match Thread: Rochdale vs Charlton on 16:07 - Feb 6 by funkkk | Expect a new throw in coach to be announced on Monday. |
Heh! I'm sure our head of recruitment is on it, along side our first team analyst.

| Match Thread: Rochdale vs Charlton on 16:00 - Feb 6 by SaxonDale | Bit of a niche moan but it's so frustrating how poor we are at throw-ins. |
What exacerbates that is how we always seem to let the other team take their throws fairly unimpeded.

Newby & Done on for Roberts and Dooley. Comfortable for Charlton so far

| Match Thread: Rochdale vs Charlton on 16:24 - Feb 6 with 2719 views | milnrowblue | Need a bit more bite in this team like O’Connell has just shown. Camps used to give us a bit of bas*ardry and we’ve been missing it since he left. Other teams get in faces of the opposition and officials, so we need to stop being little nice old Rochdale and throw ourselves about a bit. | | | |

The two decisions BBM made for tactical reasons certainly didn’t come off. For some reason Roberts despite liking his runs forward can’t seem to get used to it at left back The bigger issue remains the centre of the park and strange we haven’t made a change there yet either.

You can see he is frustrated with the way things are going. Might get himself booked soon. Nothing happening for Dale yet but Lund is almost ineffective playing upfront. Millar having a field day for them. Crikey...Keohane on for McLaughlin .Millar rubs his hands with glee [Post edited 6 Feb 2021 16:29]

He's so much better making runs at the opposition and running into space. Really struggled with his back to them in midfield always needs an extra touch been too indecisive today as well in those situations.

Yeah, the Lund point is a really valid one. He’s too far forward at the moment. He could still make an impact in the last third by starting ten yards deeper.

There was a moment a couple of minutes not the second half where Aneke just eased Rathbone off the ball as if he wasn't there. He is a real handful

We're much more enterprising, and Newby's part of that, offering some threat as opposed to zilch

| Match Thread: Rochdale vs Charlton on 16:57 - Feb 6 with 2017 views | milnrowblue | Possibly zero positives to take from the game, but Charlton are a good side and should expected to beat us. Concerned with the performance, but 5 very winnable games coming up where we can rectify that and need to pick up at least 9 points to be in with a chance of staying up. Anything less than that and we’ll have a real battle on our hands. | | | |
