"Southend United have been mocked for selling the naming rights for the West Stand to estate agents Gilbert and Rose.
This means fans will now sit in what is now called the Gilbert and Rose West Stand at Roots Hall Football Stadium in Essex.
Social media users drew comparisons with Rose West who is still in prison for murdering and torturing at least 10 young women and girls.
The first person to spot the interesting name choice, wrote: 'Only Southend United could have a sponsor for the West Stand called Gilbert and Rose, inevitably leading to the Gilbert and Rose West Stand."
