Without doubt the current issues are due to the invasion of young Albanian males. This years influx is the size of the population of Fareham plus those who scarpered on getting on shore. Look out for the increase in crime over the next year. |  | | |

Unfortunately mindless sound-bites are not the answer to a complex problem which requires international co-operation and improvement in almost every facet:
1) Tackling the criminal gangs;
2) Stopping boats leaving France;
3) Patrolling our coast line better;
4) Swifter processing and resolutions (either kicking out or allowing people to start contributing);
5) Setting up processing centres (and maybe even housing facilities) on mainland Europe (not just France but further back).
The Albanian question is interesting - once they get to Slovenia/Austria/Italy they are free to get to the French coast. We need to understand why they are leaving a peaceful country to come to the Uk and try and impact the decision at source. | | | |

Judging from the number of court cases, the Albanians are modernday Vikings. They just want a bit of rape and pillage.
Seriously though, I think the stories of sexual opportunities unavailable in their own more restrictive societies are one of the key factors attracting so many young men to the UK and the Scandinavian countries. [Post edited 1 Nov 2022 20:38]
