Coventry Match Thread 00:02 - Nov 12 with 25293 views | Boston | We fckin win 2-1. Always had a bit of a gripe with these lads. Got a hiding up there once, must be nearly 40 years ago but there's nothing like a bit of hate to add interest to a game. Oh yeah, tomorrows unwilling audience who will have to listen to the boss's choice of audio entertainment will include Brentford, Millwall, Palace and a Porto fan. So sort it aaaht Rangers! Coventry Match Thread on 15:53 - Nov 12 with 3544 views | Greenbay | HT This match played at a sharp pace. Coventry slicker on the attack. QPR giving the ball away too much - mainly cos we've been closed down by good intense marking. Our attack once again - so far - failing to break down a solid defence. Right on HT JCS heads wide from Chair corner. We're still in this. One touch of Willock brilliance will do the trick.
Coventry Match Thread on 15:57 - Nov 12 with 3408 views | jtuck | HT: Willock not fit. Taylor Richards looks good. Illy still Mr Work Rate. They are in form and playing well. Two headers from Chair corner and free kick just off target.

Coventry Match Thread on 16:04 - Nov 12 with 3170 views | dmm | A rather stodgy performance so far. We're not moving the ball through the thirds quickly enough. When we do play through Dykes is isolated because Chair and Willock are too deep. We'll need to improve in the second to get anything out of this game.

They look far slicker on attack, better pressing, and solid at the back. We have none of those things, but yes we’re still in it. Chair’s set piece deliveries have been excellent, and there were a few bright moments towards end of half. Somehow it always looks like when they’re attacking they’re on the counter attack, running into space with us back-pedalling. But when we attack it’s always through a tough press and massed ranks at the back. Not a lot of our players running to make space and angles I’m afraid. Fair play to Cov but 1-0 we can still nick something.

Coventry Match Thread on 16:20 - Nov 12 with 2676 views | Greenbay | Much better this half - more possession. But still to test their keeper. We're still in this.

Unsurprisingly enough, I suppose, after the last few games. World Cup coming at a good time for us.
