Hi all and sorry this is my first post, but can anyone on here see us getting even just one more point this season?

I genuinely can’t.

It’s reached the point that I don’t know any football team in any league on this planet that this lot could beat.

I’ve already accepted that we will be in League One next season. Don’t know how the rest of you feel, but I can’t see anything but this outcome now.

That’s very fair point. There is not a single team in the whole league system that this team could expect to get even a single point from. Sadly we leak goals and are unable to score any.

I do not think we will get relegated this year but it will be tight. It will be down to the wire and our survival is not in our own hands, it’s in the hands of the teams below us. Can one of the bottom 3 teams smell blood and use that to get a couple of wins to go above us? Unlikely as the bottom 3 are as bad as us (almost) but it’s far more likely that QPR picking up any more points.

Of all the teams I see Blackpool as the one most likely to leapfrog us. Indeed our upcoming match may well decide both teams Championship survival .

The only way I can see QPR getting any points is by a lucky last minute penalty. Blackpool would be a good place to earn a point that way. It might happen………

Blackpool 1 point doable
Birmingham 3 points doable
Wigan 3 points doable
Preston 3 points doable
Coventry 1 point doable
Bristol City 3 points doable.

If we can get at least 6 points from these matches I think that should be enough. Looking at the teams below other games. It’s imperative we don’t lose to Blackpool and Wigan.
Maybe I’m just being too positive or hopeful.
Only time will tell.

I've just not reached a point where I think we'll go down. Too many poor teams down there, too many of these teams play us and I think Gaz will scrape a couple of wins which will be enough to keep us up. Its next season where I think the real work begins without the start that Beale gave us.

I have long since forgotten what It's like to win a game of football as I suspect have most of our underperforming players.
I have resigned myself to being relegated and I'm now at the point with our club of almost--almost not giving a f uck anymore.
I cant stand our players especially those bastard scivers.
I should be at LR next Saturday to meet my lad Dave In the upper Loft and another QPR fan I haven't seen In a long time.

I won't be there, I make no apology for being so downbeat but after decades and decades I'm worn out with It all.

It'll be exactly the same in ten Years time.

Enough already.

I just think we have a chance in those games. They are where they are for a reason as well. Hopefully a few of the shirkers will be back by then trying to get a move in the summer. 6 points would hopefully be enough

I might be wrong, but I think we've been in the 30's points since October?

That is quite frankly fcking disgraceful 😤

I think we will go down, as others have said I can’t see where the next point will come from and others below us will pick up likely another 10-15 pts. We were 10/1 to do down last week and even after yesterday still a very generous 11/2.

It’s incredibly frustrating and hard to explain, probably my all-time low point as a QPR fan.

The club have taken so much from supporters over the years...for meagre returns. I understand exactly how you feel, and don't blame you or any supporter for feeling this way.

It never, ever works out how you expect it to though does it? Think we'll just about about scrape through but probably by picking up something against Norwich, West Brom or Burnley and p1ssing away Brum and Preston at home. We're entering silly season in respect of freakish results. What the hell happened at Sunderland yesterday for example?

Joking aside it was actually on October 22nd, four and a half months ago, which is pretty staggering.
Being a season ticket holder this year has been a profoundly depressing experience.
Some have compared it to our relegation season from the first Division in 1969, after the two consecutive promotions which got us there. Maybe my memory is playing tricks after all these years but my memory of that season is that we created a lot of chances in many of the games that we lost and were unlucky not to get a result on a number of occasions.

Very true. Six points seems so far away right now but I think it can be done.

Fleetwood in the cup still haunts me.
They turned the tables on us, and that was with a team we put out better on paper than the one Gareth had to field yesterday.
Club's screwed, I'm sorry to say, regardless whether we stay up by the skin of our teeth, or not.

I'm not optimistic. Teams don't tend to just keep losing, but we are. Teams might get the odd lucky win, but you have to compete and do the basics to get a big of luck. If Gareth can get them motivated then maybe we may just scrape by. But the squad is so lame and sick I fear he may need a bit of time to get the right sort of player in. Not costing any money, but prepared to give it their all, which really ought to be a basic requirement for earning thousands a week but doesn't seem to be

We will go down.
We'll then have a massive clear out and be top half of league 1 for a few years before coming back up.
Then we'll be back in the same situation, unable to compete financially anymore and will have to settle for bottom half in the championship forever more.

Ainsworth will get them fighting and creating half chances as the first half showed yesterday, but we are just so feeble in defence that we give away a couple of goals a game. That’s going to be the real challenge.

To be fair having Kakay at left back and Drewe at right back is miles off a Championship standard defence so not sure what the coaches can really do.

The real problem is that we’ve got a whole first choice back four with their feet up, two of the best attackers in the league out for the season it looks like, and a midfield that was never any good in the first place. It’s going to be a tough end to the season.

The situation looks increasingly fraught, I grant you, but our fate IS in our hands - last time I looked, we were, even now, still 7 points clear of the third bottom club (whom we play shortly, and, IF we can somehow beat them , it'll be 10). So try and keep at least a modicum of perspective and realism, eh, or we might as well all just throw in the towel?

I think we stay up, but that has more to do with what is below us (that stretch in Sept/Oct will have saved us). So long as we don’t lose all three of the Blackpool/Wigan/Birmingham games, I think Ainsworth will be able to pickup at least a few points and keep us above the others (call me naive after the last 3 months). But given our budget and the the clear mentality issues with this squad that NC himself called out that go back to last season, I don’t know how we can clear out what needs to go and bring in replacements for next year. I know I am getting ahead of myself, but looks like an impossible summer…
