On Saturday left two minutes early and saw ahead of me lads playing on the five a side pitches goad the rangers fans walking home
Intelligent chants such as you should support Man U etc
Ahead of me, five or six skinhead rotund sixty somethings with less than sixty brain cells between them reacting by shaking the fence the big boy teenagers hid behind.
These men used extremely intelligent chat to show their distaste for the comments but they lacked a sense of amiability so police community support officers, equally rotund ran towards these gentleman at a pace that would not embarrass a pet tortoise and two of them slipped and fell enroute. In fact I believe their tumbles were on purpose because it looked like they were crapping themselves thinking of the bad boys they were going to teach a lesson but did not wish to, through fear !!!
The rotund rather sozzled QPR Heroes rhen pointed at the teenage maestros on the five a side pitches and shouted and gestured with clarity that these chaps should be dealt with by the strong arm of the law.
Totally embarrassing, totally shambolic from the nuts, from the police and from the teenage superstars !!!
If there has to be a proper bundle that the cops deal with, the seriously all parties need to take a good hard look at themselves.
Very appropriate end to the day !!!!

Even by LFW standards that was the most smug, patronising comment for a long time. It’s bad enough watching the matches without worrying about what us going on outside the ground. I’m really surprised that there hasn’t been much more robust interaction between fans and players/management in the past few weeks. |  | | |

It was said all very tongue in cheek and it was just from my point of view a light hearted look at something which at the time most people there kind of lightly amused by its absurdity and summed up the day.
There was no danger. It was all rather darkly comical.
The power of the written word to be misinterpreted..

Saw the same incident myself .
Nobody came out of this incident with any credit.
The teenagers were shouting abuse at passing fans ( talk about kicking us when we’re down)
They’re incredibly brave when they’re behind a three metre fence but it was too much for some of our fans who decided to take umbrage with the comments.
Police quickly got involved.
I didn’t see how the situation got resolved as we had my 10 year old niece with us so we just kept going.
Sadly it’s not just teenagers who shout abuse from these caged pitches . A few weeks ago a grown adult shouted abuse at me after a game . He had an Arsenal top on .

I remember going with my dad and a mate when I was about 12 and there was a running battle with thirty or forty charging Sheffield Wednesday fans.
My dad attempted stopped to shield me and my friend but do remember being a little freaked at the time. | |

as i walked up to white city, as super coventry scored their 3rd, groups of asian youths were calling out cheeky remarks. i just was too upset with qpr to stop and listen but it wasnt qpr fans starting the name calling.
i saw no punch ups and as youths behind fencing would be hard to actually hit anyone.

Try coming towards the ground when we play Luton and Millwall - Police block of Bloemfontain Road so you have to walk straight through the supposedly kettled knuckle draggers coming the otherway with a police and horse escort!
A few years ago myself and a father with an 5ish year old were walking down and an escape party had split off - I just grabbed them and push the kid and his dad into a shop which luckily had a turn lock. Much banging on the doors from the 3 numbskulls and then a couple of coppers pushed them away. The shopkeeper didn't bat an eyelash! |  | | |
