I’d say they were crap questions. He already said that he didn’t get involved in the money/transfer side of things and then I think there was another 4 questions about it. These pre game pressers are a waste of time anyway, regardless of who does them.

Definitely crap questions, I don't believe he's a bystander when it comes to players in and out, if so the Andy Coleman "we are all aligned and working together" stuff was a nonsense. If he worked for me he'd be getting some help with presenting himself positively. If this is his normal behaviour he's not going to get the best out of people.

There’s a balance between smarm and dour. Martin was at the opposite end of the scale but I doubt either of them will ever find it.
Reality is, he’ll get judged on results and performances. No one will care about his press conferences if we’re putting teams away every week.

I’ve not heard him once say how wonderful are The City The Gower The Stadium The fans Boring haircut, droning voice ,no fist pups. He might not even go to Rossis or get invited to tea by fans . When I see these local journalists ,I literally cringe with embarrassment . Just wtf must managers think .Martin used them to his own advantage being very savvy media wise . Duff is clueless in that regard .BUT ,to me ,he is no frills and honest and I can live with that . Sadly,I don’t think Duff will be with us that long Yeah, Russ left a legacy alright .

Duff has a blunt 'lets get down to business' approach which I like.. He does it without being rude but he could perhaps get into trouble down the line like Nigel Pearson did if his patience snaps.
I doubt he will show 'high maintenance ' players too much slack. If they start messing around he will not cover it the new highly tolerant "we need to love our players and show them understanding".
Playing football is a great life and all players wearing the Swansea training bibs should be very happy.
The first goal v WBA three of Swansea's defenders failed to win their headers and the four touch was a goal. Swansea highly rated "young men" did not manage to interfere in WBA's well practiced training ground corner. This happened a lot under than lovely fellow the preceded Duff.
I hope it will not happen so often under Duff. As he said. "I do not want us to be known as a "nice " team". Wood, Cabango and Darling do not want to be called in to his office every Monday morning for a short crisp little chat.
