Why risk him? He is due to go out on loan to Swansea . He is very highly rated and 20 soon. A year older than Lewis Koumas who is going to Stoke. Similar to Brewster when he came to Swansea . Out for a year but fully fit and needing game time. More speed in the forward line.

Morning R, let’s wait and see but I’m of a similar view to your good self. I’d rather Providence and reading between the lines it looks as if it’s an ‘either or’ situation not both. The YouTube reel I’ve seen shows he has pace but not particularly good finishing and if course all clips were for the U21s. The Championship will be vastly different, even to the PL itself. But as I said, let’s give him every chance to ram our doubts firmly down our throats, I’d be very happy for him to do that.

yeah who needs loanees really, Not like that Borini kid ever did anything to help us, or that Gylfi fella when he came in on loan. Also don't forget about that clown Leon who we loaned in. Deary me you don't half talk a load of Tosh

True. One could say that Coopers loans got us to the play offs, twice. It's all about the quality of the loan, what we currently have, will they fit our style and would they hinder the development of our own players. There are good loans and pointless ones, a couple of which we had last season.

What is tosh about doubting a kid who has been injured for a significant time . Bony ,Walsh , washed up yet brought to our club . Tosh that was for sure . Borini is a terrible comparison . Tosh really

good morning onewhunglow, whilst agreeing to a point with your veiws re loans lets welcome the lad and wish him well, Liverpool have just given him an extended contract so they must see a future for him and because the owners will not pay the going rate for guys in uk we either go down this road or have no one of quality, you must agree that the squad for whatever reason is paper thin for a long hard championship season and with at least 4 mid length injuries we have what we have and we still are desperate for another centre back striker and if possible a attacking midfielder and if up to me i would try and get Rushworth back after watching saturday, you may disagree and i respect that but we all have veiws , the guys at the top over seas do not really care and the people on the ground here can only do so much without usa yes/ no no matter what they say

why is it a terrible comparison. Your moaning yet again about loanees, i am merely pointing out that clubs like us have to rely on loanees from the bigger clubs. It's a tale as old as time and every other club in our league will do the same. You just love to moan about everything you can, have to question if you even like football or indeed Swansea.

Now,that’s getting personal. Try again . Attack the post not the individual Meanwhile, check out Bony’s injury record before he joined us ,then take a look at this kid

Could go either way, hopefully not another Rhys Williams (who also had a long term contract)

The thing with big Clubs is they can afford to offer new contracts to their youngsters , its called playing the percentages , we can't . So jut because he's been given a new contract ( as was Brewster for example before selling him) means very little , just an upping of his price. I'm with you to a certain extent that I'd much rather our own , who benefited from all the loanees we had not us over the past few years ,yes we got to two play off finals but we didn't win them if I recall correctly. Its becoming tedious every summer with the same crap trotted out only this time the Chairmans rather uplifting rallying call was later than usual.
