Losing to the team on top and in form is no great shame but the way you do it by playing absolute dross is clearly on show this afternoon. Today has to be the turning point that the owners see it's not working and we need a change if we are to save the season.
Crowds are falling, the players look totally demotivated and drained of any spark they once held. I've given him a bit longer to sort it out after him sticking with us last season when we were on the brink of nonexistence but you can't run a football team off the past and the current and future holds more importance.

As much as I’d like to think this would be the case it is also part of the problem. Don’t forget the board member who is in charge of footballing decisions is the same guy that gave McNulty the job in the first place. He also has a proven awful track record of getting managerial appointments wrong because although he is making the footballing decisions he knows nothing about the game either. Until we are shot of both the club will simply not move forward. |

We all know that Gauge is the director responsible for the footballing side and nothing in that article says it has changed. He is as much of a problem to the club as the manager currently is. The biggest issue when the Ogdens took over was Gauge being kept on to oversee the football side of things as the Ogdens had no experience or knowledge of the football side and thought it was better to leave him in charge of it. Unfortunately Gauge is no better qualified to do the job than the Ogdens.
Personally I have no faith in either Gauge or McNulty and won’t be back in the ground or spending another penny at the club until both have gone. |  |

Yes, I'd like to think that all major footballing decisions will now be a collective one. It would reflect very badly on the Boardroom and the Ogden family if that wasnt the case. We've moved on now with the restructuring of the Boardroom and also staff recruitment in key positions. I would imagine that's something that Simon Gauge is very happy about.
