Thinking about the Ashes, something I've always wanted to do would be to go on an England test tour. Take a couple months, do the whole thing, barely survive the alcoholism, that sort of thing.
By contrast, something everyone raves about but I couldn't give a monkey's about doing would be doing Route 66 or trying yoga. Fck that shit.

ive been trying to do mine for years plan was shark diving for the 40th a very expensive split stopped that one due to being on my arse cash wise for the next 2 or so years
Absolutely no doubt fella!
However, this is something you wanted to do pre-split and I assume, still do. Keep planning, researching, and maybe even doing some training. But I've often found for some things, the act of squirreling away money towards the goal is really empowering, especially if you put it into a notice account that you can't easily get at.
I guarantee this Mr. Wombat, 'when' you do it, your sense of satisfaction, possibly even achievement, will not only be high but may well be underpinned by a feeling of having fully overcome a trauma by showing yourself that you have moved on.
I hope this post isn't seen as patronising but rather, as one saying, 'gwan and 'kin 'ave it fella!'

In our entire history, we have had 3 seasons in the fourth tier. It's difficult to think of it as our natural position, but I guess it's your bucket list!
