This isn’t looking great for us already. Jenks has a really nasty injury. Beckwith is also out for several weeks (really hope for him that he will be able to put a decent run of full fitness together when he gets back). Maguire is still not ready and played very little, if any, of pre season, and Wilson was out.No mention of Hendo but presume he must have a knock. Petit looked in trouble when he came off and Hannett also wasn’t moving freely after the game. I am pleased for Bradley that he got some minutes yesterday but it is testament to the fact we were short of bodies. Could easily see another couple of players coming in on short term loans this week. I can see a situation where having appeared to have released Edwards he is bought back in on a short term deal
As for yesterday going off the commentary on the Bet365 site and the highlights I am hopeful the Bilongo we be a perfectly sound replacement for Beckwith. However I am a bit concerned that TAR is clearly not a natural fullback. Hope a fit Wilson will be a better option.
Having this many injuries at this stage of the season is a bit unsettling, but fingers crossed some are match ready for the 15th

Jenkins will be out for up to12 months if he has had surgery...ACLs don't heal on their own, so he will have had reconsructive surgery and then will need a minimum of 6-12 months of physio to regain full fitness, he will also have to win the psychological battle to put his trust fully into the knee again...
