Albeit one of the best in terms of league position come the end of the season. The 2016/17 season didn't have the most auspicious of starts. What was the poor start put down to and how did Hill turn things around?

Under Hill Dale consistently had a slow start.

Watson is still trying to mould his team. Certain players he has brought in are going to prove successful. Unfortunately, the keeper and some of the loanees appear to have been thrown in at the deep end.

Concede less goals. Saturday was a start. Need to start scoring now. Mani D has been a shadow of his former National League self and Brown doesn't really look like he'll score a lot of goals at all.

Just having a look at the Wikipedia page for that season, there was some quality in that team and we were never really going to struggle. Think someone has been fiddling with the editing though, I can't remember Keith Keane scoring let alone nine goals.
