Thought she had followed in Starmers footsteps and rightly got out politics, trying to work her way back in I wonder, the job of filling the kettle in the house of commons canteen perhaps or cleaning the toilets

I think she left after her god Starmer left, I think Burnham offered her a position, but she decided to leave, great choice in my opinion why she's offering her opinions now I don't know, she was killing the taxpayers. The country is in a total mess as it is, last thing it needs is her.

Not as poor as Germany , France or Italy.

She was shouted at, at a fuel station whilst being interviewed there and she said it then, she may well have changed her views now though.

Starmer is still her hero though.

And yet we haven't so far had mass protests and violence in the UK this year unlike France, Italy and Germany, Spain , Portugal and Greece.

As for being poorer, maybe there is a lot more to that than brexit, after all France is, right now, a financial basket case. Germany has had recent struggles, it's economy has turned sluggish with many of the same problems the UK has; It has an ageing popualtion (median age 47 versus the UK's 40) which is causing problems for it's pensions and healthcare systems with a shrinking ratio of workers to retirees driving up public spending and social security, it suffers from de-industrialisation and high energy costs.

Does that sound familiar? Meanwhile the UK GDP hs grown more than expected, we are second in Europe.

Politics and football have these two things in common, failure is no obstacle to a better job and constant failure is no obstacle to being offered more jobs.
