Coleman out 17:20 - Jan 12 with 2312 viewsmizfit

After making the lengthy trip down to dagenham and preparing to come home I feel very angry towards the collapse I have just witnessed
Poor first half, dominated start of second till we took the lead then we just collapsed
Coleman did nothing to change it when Dag got on top and at 1-1 there was only 1 winner
Bbm starting was an odd choice
Yet again another example of no plan b
I've defended Coleman every week but after that display I don't feel I can no longer justify supporting him
He's had enough time to mould that team into his own. They're his players and tactics and we aren't getting better
Time to go Coleman I'm afraid

Ps my away day review will be up tomorrow or Monday

You've defended coleman every week? Is this serious? You pie munching turd.

I've seen at least 3 coleman out threads from you after losses, which you've described as heat of the moment. you even made one last week saying 'keith hills barmy army, coleman out'.

Keep calm. Stop embarrassin yourself and eat some pie.

I agree I've said Coleman out in haste before but it's got to a point where we need to look elsewhere before we get sucked into a dogfight at the bottom
If Hill wants the job then give it him
All the time Coleman been saying we know our problems yet doesn't fix them that's where I've lost my patience

On the way back too. We have played worse, but opposition as poor ad they were should be beaten. Accepting 8 defeats out of ten is not on.ooh we are 14th ffs. Others have games on hand. Under Coleman we are simply not good enough . Its a results business. Very fed up Dale fan.

I agree with you regarding the fact he keeps pointing out these problems, but is doing nothing to alter them and the same mistakes keep occuring.

please don't lie then and say you've supporting coleman every week if this is not the case, because you'll just get called out by someone.

Might be wrong but have told we have won 6 out of the last 30 games. If that is so, then coleman MUST go. How can anyone who claims to be a fan of this club accept that?

How can that be possibly true.

We've won 10 out of 28 league games this season. So even with cup games we've won 1, lost 3, making our record 11 wins from 32 for the season.

Time to go now. Anyone remember when York went out of the league after being in a playoff position before Xmas? I fear the same will be happening to us. Time to go.

I'll be honest with you, I don't know. I'm running out of positives that's for sure. However, I do agree with Sweetcorn on his point in another thread. Sacking managers is a very expensive and potentially dangerous hobby. In addition, you create a 'quick-fix' mentality within the club and amongst the fans. Look at how City fans used to be and Villa and Barnsely fans are now. In regards to the latter, they hated Davey, Robins and Hill. Gets to the point where you have to accept that changing managers isn't always the answer. At some point, you've got to give someone time to try and build something. We've got to be very careful we don't become a sacking club.

I'd also like to add that if I did change and want JC out I wouldn't try and kid everyone that I've always wanted JC out.

Normally I'd agree with this (and even sweetcorn) but the sheer lack of professionalism on display with the players attitude and tactical ineptness mitigates against any sympathy I'd have with a struggling manager.

Quite simply, the club is no longer one we recognise or care to spend money on - and if the board themselves decide enough is enough through lack of support...

...what then?

Time to decide, CD.

Agree with most you say there, but id rather be a sacking club than a non league club which is the wat we are going both on and off pitch. ITs a joke this club atm every fan ( even the stay away fans ) can see it just the shame the board cant see it i even told a board member this on thursday.

I'd dig out my sheep-skin coat, buy a big cigar and fedora hat and hold a press conference.

I'd tell the world's press that 'football means more to me than the wife herself' and that the two best teams in the world are 'Rochdale and Rochdale's reserves if you discount Barcelona, Madrid, La Liga, Bundesliga, Prem, Championship, League 1 and most of League 2 and all there reserve teams.

I'd then say socialism is about 11 men on a pitch arguing and with nobody supprting them.

I'd then go out and sign Steve Daley for £42 million.

I'd love it, just love it.

Agreed - it's not just about results, it seems there's an unsavoury culture building in the club from all that we've seen and heard this season. Add to this the badly dwindling attendances and the despondency, disillusionment and disinterest of many of us fans. If saving money now from paying off the management ultimately leads to a spiral into non-league then it's obviously not the right decision.
