I wouldn't read anything too deep into Barton's tweets TBH.
If he's been as good at Marseille as he thinks he has, why are they not keeping him? I doubt we want much of a fee and he claims he'd take a pay cut?
He was bloody awful towards the end of last season, his pass completion was shocking as were his set pieces.
The final day of the season incident was pure stupidity - although i do think the length of the ban was a massive case of double standards by the FA.
