They have set up a stall outside Spotland for today's rugby encouraging people to support them. You should be sending them packing.

Why should we? We don't feel threatened by them.

Maybe you should be worried about them trying to pinch your support with offers outside your own stadium.

Not at all.

Anyone who'd be tempted to support them wouldn't be worth keeping as a Daley.

We have standards, you know.

Maybe we could start selling their kits in our club shop?

No, no, silly suggestion. That would just be embarrassing.

But isn't it typical of a fan of a club with no morals, no ethics, no STANDARDS that you simply don't understand what I'm talking about?

With the Dale Trust being a fans Co-op it'd be nice to see them down here next year for Co-op day, especially since relations between Hornets and the Dale being a little bit warmer than they've been for a while.

unlike your practice of putting admission prices up for one game only but ensure that home fans get a discount? You people pay the same as everyone else in League 2 do.

FWIW Col if the DT didn't get a invite then I'm a bit surprised and upset with the Hornets board given rule 6 and 7 of the Rochdale Princies. I think they've missed an opportunity to build bridges and thaw relations that little bit more.

I would hope you get one next year.

Is this true about fc united?
Aren't they supposed to be a people's club, a family friendly club? a community club?
I suppose they're not too different from the club who's arse they fell from.

Just got back after seeing the Manchester parade. FCUM had a big presence - large banners (red, white and black),float and a message that the club wasn't for millionaires...and ofcourse chanting fans as part of their parade.

Is Rochdale AFC taking part in the Norden carnival or any of the other Borough carnivals ??????

Yeah, that's much more worrying than them playing in our stadium for example.

We get paid for that i.e stadium rental so that would cover any lost revenue for poaching fans.

I very much doubt you made them pay to pitch up at your stadium with the intention of poaching new fans from your town.

As for Ken's question, it is indeed true that they were at Spotland. Photo's have been taken and will be online accordingly.

What about when they're off in a few years time?

And that constant revenue stream of the supporters they have poached is gone along with the stadium rental? (Without which you'd probably no longer exist.) Plus, putting up a stall outside an event which had less than 1000 people isn't quite the same as them actually playing on a weekly basis there for a few years is it Popsy babes?
