It's going to be nothing like -10C, more like -2C which the covers should protect the pitch from adequately.

Before the cold spell gets a grip, it would be a good idea to get the covers inspected early for damage, and/or concealed flares, knives, guns, miscellaneous fireworks, suicide vests and IEDs before they are rolled out. Of course, it isn't necessary to inspect them all. Every other one should be more than enough?  |  |
