Has the 'undisclosed fee' been disclosed anywhere? I know Cannon was said to be £150k. I think I'd expect McGahey to be worth more but then defenders don't normally pull as much in the way of transfer fees. | |

Although I hate undisclosed sales, I can understand why they happen, as it is designed to stop clubs buying our players on the cheap. Unfortunately most managers, chairman and CEO’s are a quick phone call away from finding the price out, from the buying club, if they are on good terms, and even if they are not, they will know someone who is.
I doubt we will have got more than Wilbraham and Perkins signing on fees and seasons wages (even if Perkins has gone), so great business by Keith overall.

When a fee is undisclosed, we the fans don’t know if it’s a good deal or not, and then we as individuals have to trust that a good deal has happened. Obviously some will always trust its a good deal, other will always think the opposite. I for one just don’t know, but I feel uneasy about selling one of our best, if not our best CD to a potential relegation rival, unless its a deal that allows for a better replacement.
