Some stats... 17:14 - Jan 16 with 918 viewsTVOS1907

* That was our 61st 3-3 draw in the league and the 39th at home

* It was our first 3-3 draw since the game against Crewe last weekend

* It was the highest goals aggregate in games versus Wigan, beating the five goals at the DW Stadium last month and five goals at Spotland in April 2018

* This was the second time in our history we have drawn 3-3 in consecutive home league games. The last time was Feb/March 2017 in games against Charlton and Sheffield United.

* We have now conceded exactly 600 league goals in January

* Dale's first goal was the 250th we have scored at home in the league on Saturdays in January

* Stephen Humphrys is only the third Dale player to score twice in a game versus Wigan, after Dennis Wann and Alex Newby

There might be something to find on 20 goals in three games in a week; leave it with me.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Is the 600 goals conceded just this January?????
Interesting thought is that if the results from the last 3 games were repeated over a full season we would score over 150 goals ,but would probably be relegated with 46 points .
Hopefully something will be sorted in the next 2 weeks to improve our defence and give us a chance of still being in Div 1 next season

It feels like it, but it means in every FL January since 1921, doesn't it?

Some more...

* Jim McNulty was sent-off for the fourth time in his career and the second as a Dale player

* He was the first Dale player sent-off at home since Magnus Norman v Bristol Rovers in October 2018

* He was the first outfield player sent-off at home since... Jim McNulty v Chesterfield, Checkatrade Trophy, December 2016

* Jim became the sixth player sent off in the 29 games between Dale and Wigan. All six have been Dale players.

* Jim became the 190th Dale player sent-off in first team football

* This was the first time we have drawn 3-3 on consecutive Saturdays since January 1971 against Brighton and Colchester (FA Cup)

* Yesterday meant there had been 20 goals in Dale's last three league games, a figure equalled five previous times and exceeded 11 times!

* The last time we had three consecutive games with exactly 20 goals was in Sep/Oct 1938. [Gateshead 5-2, Hartlepools 2-4, Darlington 6-1]

* The last time we had three consecutive games with more than 20 goals was in Sep 1955 [Oldham 4-4, Barrow 5-1, Chesterfield 2-7]

* Yesterday meant there had been 25 goals in Dale's last four league games, a figure equalled nine previous times and exceeded nine times!

‘He was the first Dale player sent-off at home since Magnus Norman v Bristol Rovers in October 2018’.

If I was being unkind to Jim (not to Magnus, he was unarguably crap), I’d say both red cards actually helped us gain a point on the day.
