That’s the third potential loan goalkeeper that I’ve seen us linked with. There was the lad from United, Carl Rushworth from Brighton and now this player. Working on the theory that there’s no smoke without fire it would seem that we are looking for another keeper as well as Lynch and Wade.

Surely not a priority right now? Lynch was solid enough in his games towards the end of last season and Wade is surely up to being deputy this season? We need to be selective with the wage bill.

If Wade has not developed enough to at least be the "back-up" keeper ,I think it would be a fair assumption that the length of contract offered some time ago has turned out to have been a mistake. Have we not also offered a contract to a young academy keeper, not that I am suggesting that he would be first team material at this stage of his career.

I had hoped Wade would have been 2nd choice this year with a view of him challenging Lynch. Keeper didn't seem a priority for me but if we're able to get a better keeper for basically no money why wouldn't we. I think what we've done with Sanchez and Bazunu hasn't gone unnoticed.
