Not turning out to be a good deal, but not necessarily a poor decision, except in hindsight
The key factor of course being White's fitness, but we'd have to assume he passed some sort of fitness/medical test (as do all players) prior to him signing
In retrospect, one year would've been better but it could also be that other clubs were interested in a one year deal and we had to make it two years to get him |  |

After an initial positive start I’m beginning to think White has turned into a bad signing. Thought he was dreadful on Saturday, appreciate everyone was rusty but I do feel that I’ve seen him have either more poor (or meh) type games than good.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the Aidy White signing has come off, so I can see some legs in this rumour. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that White hasn’t managed to stay fit for a run in the side, but to balance that out I expected him to be very good when he did play. He’s been disappointing overall and looks poor value on a two year deal. |  | | |

That sums it up well. When McShane and McLaughlin played they were usually top performers, which made their absence even more annoying as the team was clearly weaker without them.
When White has been absent, we haven’t missed him and his displays have been hit and miss. Maybe if he can stay in the side for the rest of the season, his form may improve. |  |
